I watch as the time on my phone screen turns to three in the morning as the five of us stumble out the back doors of the club. Well they stumble, I walk because much to my annoyance I am completely fucking sober.

Liberty and Yasmine immediately sit down on the sidewalk, their backs leaning against the wall of the club. By the fact Yasmine is now resting her head on Liberty's shoulder and the tense air previously hanging around them has dissipated I can tell all is forgiven between the two girls.

"How are we getting back home?" Jessie asks no one in particular holding her arms closely around her body even though the air still holds some warmth from the past day.

"We can all stay at mine, My Parents left for Santorini at lunch. Someone order an Uber" Yasmine waves her hand that contains her unlocked phone around in the air weakly gesturing for someone to order a ride from her phone "The world's spinning too fast for me to do it"

Suzy-May walks over to Yasmine, putting her shoes in Liberty's lap then taking Yasmine's phone from her hand then sitting down next to them.

"Didn't they just go to Aspen last week?" I ask, Yasmine nods with a shrug.

"They never stick around much in summer" Her eyes fall shut after she finishes mumbling out her answer. There's a pang of pain for Yasmine in my chest when I recollect on the fact that not only was my Mom not around in summer, she wasn't around period. Work always came first with her.

Not that it hurt me so much this past year, but I remember when it did. I hope for her sake that Yasmine's gotten used to it too.

Eventually all five of us ended up sitting on the floor as we waited for the Uber to arrive, it was as if a wave of exhaustion had hit the four girls and none of them could manage more than mumbling a few words every five minutes. Yasmine was completely stone cold knocked out drooling onto Liberty's shoulder who was too tired to give a damn.

I watched people as they passed us with a wary gaze, the fact I was the only able to form coherent sentences right now made me something I never usually am. Nervous. Groups of men walked by us with amused expressions on their faces, no more than three at once.

Right now I really wish I had a can of pepper spray.

A large grey SUV parks in front of us and Suzy-May slowly gets up onto her feet dragging Yasmine up with her.

"This is our ride" Suzy says while struggling to get a passed out Yasmine upright, Jessie quickly stands herself up then goes to Yasmine's other side swinging one of Yasmine's arms round her shoulder.

They open the door of the car, placing Yasmine in first before sliding in themselves as I help Liberty to her feet and make our way over to the car. We're almost inside when Liberty throws up.

All over my top. I really like this top.

"Shit" I recoil from her and she throws up again, thankfully on the sidewalk this time.

"Sorry Harry" She mumbles half apologetically, half tired before getting into the car. Absolutely fucking fantastic.

Looking down at my soiled shirt with a sigh, I frown.

"Hey Sweetie, throw that in this bag you can wear this" I notice that the driver's window is now down, a middle aged woman is giving me a kind sympathetic stare as well as a clear plastic bag and a plain white t-shirt.

"Always gotta carry extra things during the night, some people really can't hold their booze" She laughs it off as if Liberty didn't almost just ruin her car.

"Thank you" I respond accepting the shirt and bag, unsure of where to change.

"Just hop in the back, there's a divider between me and you girls" She answers the look of hesitation on my face smoothly and I nod before joining the girls in the car closing the door behind me with a slam, ignoring the smell of vomit that's now stuck to me.
