Craig powered his phone off in annoyance, trying to focus on his show over the rapid notifications. Token had been spamming him all day, asking for advice on how to deal with...Clyde in general. Token had decided to help tutor Clyde today, and from the most recent text that had said in all capitals " OH GOD NOW HE'S CRYING BECAUSE I DONT HAVE ANY MAYONNAISE HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH HIM HE IS AN ACTUAL FIVE YEAR OLD" Craig figured that it wasn't going too well. A knock at the door made Craig raise an eyebrow, too invested in the tv to get up and see who was there. Another knock sounded, followed by a rapid set of more. Whoever was at the door didn't sound like they were giving up anytime soon. Craig groaned, throwing his door open to see who was so rudely interrupting his episode of red racer. " What the fuck do you w-" Craig began, not even looking up to see who it was before someone lept onto him, clinging tightly to his chest. " AGH WHAT THE FUCK? Oh.. Hey Clyde" Craig said, looking down at the messy brown hair. " He's your problem now" Token yelped, darting away before Craig could react. " Huh? TOKEN!" Craig yelled after him, quickly giving up and looking back towards Clyde, who he now realised was crying as he clung to him. " Dude ew you're gonna get snot all over me" Craig frowned, attempting to peel his friend away from him. " Clyde let go" He protested, but Clyde was hugging him too tightly. Eventually, Craig gave up, wrapping his own arms around Clyde and patting his back lightly. " Fine you can stay, but I'm watching red racer and its cold just standing here in the doorway so can we please go inside?" Craig groaned. Clyde mumbled something into his shirt in protest, hugging him tighter. " Ugh, you're a pain in the ass" Craig sighed, waddling awkwardly towards the sofa with Clyde still holding onto him. The pair flopped down, Clyde falling on top of his friend, still refusing to release him from the hug. Craig huffed, the weight of his friend almost winding him. He tried to ignore the wet patch forming on his shirt from Clydes snot and tears, instead pressing play and trying to focus on his show. As the boy continued to cry, Craig felt a pang of guilt in his heart, raising a hand to stroke his friends hair comfortingly. He smiled, running his fingers through the brown locks and only just now realising how soft they were. The faint smell of Clydes shampoo filled his nose, and he felt himself relaxing unconciously. He continued to play with his hair, half watching the show and half focusing on how surprisingly warm and comfortable the hug felt. As the show ended, Craig looked down, noticing that at some point Clyde had stopped crying. His breathing was slow and calm, and the little snores every now and then signalled that he must have tired himself out and fallen asleep. Craig chuckled lightly, shaking his head and trying to gently roll him onto the sofa so that he could get up. When this just made Clyde hug him tighter, Craig gulped, realising that he wasn't going anywhere any time soon. " mphfphmmm" Clyde mumbled into Craigs chest in his sleep, Craig giving up on his escape and flopping back into the seat. Clyde turned his face, making Craig grimace as he saw drool pooling on his shirt from his friends mouth. He wanted to shove him away, but something about how peaceful he looked right now made it impossible for Craig to bring himself to disturb him. Instead, Craig decided to distract himself from the wet patch forming on his shirt, instead watching the way his friends face looked, squished against him. He smiled, realising how cute and soft his cheeks looked, only barely managing to resist the urge to squish them. He brushed a stray strand of hair from Clydes face, feeling his own eyes grow heavy as a yawn crept out of his mouth. His heart felt warm as he hugged his friend back, fondly stroking his jacket with a thumb.

Craig's eyes shot open, the sound of rattling in his kitchen making his heart race. He glanced at the paused TV, rubbing the sleep from his eyes and realising that he must have drifted off in the middle of an episode. As he sat up, his chest felt cold, and looking down he saw a patch of damp covering it. Memories of earlier flooded back, reminding Craig that he more likely fell asleep when he was waiting for Clyde to wake. He scrunched his eyes shut, facepalming in embarrassment when he realised that since Clyde had clearly woken up first, he had seen Craig hugging him. A yelp of pain from the kitchen made Craig shoot up, racing in and realising that Clyde unsupervised in a room with sharp objects was never a good idea. " CLYDE WH-" He began, before he saw his friend staring back at him, rubbing his hip. " It's ok! I just hit my hip on the table. Go back to sleep" Clyde grinned, shuffling awkwardly to the side as he clearly tried to hide something on the counter behind him. " Clyde what is behind you" Craig asked blankly, trying to look overr his friends shoulder. " NOTHING! Uh I mean.. Nothing?" Clyde lied helplessly, Craig frowning and easily moving him to the side. " Ta dah!" Clyde smiled proudly when Craig looked to see a cup of coffee, the latte art on top of it weirdly professional looking. ".. You made this?" Craig asked in disbelief, looking at the grin across Clydes face. " Yep! I wanted to make you something for being such a good friend! And I know you like coffee so I asked Tweek to show me how to.. Make..." Clyde trailed off, slowly losing confidence in the idea as he realised how bad it sounded. " I know its dumb I just... I really wanted to impress you and.. To do something special for you... Because whenever I'm a little shit you always have to deal with it and... And.." Clyde mumbled, looking down at his feet awkwardly. " I uh.. I don't think its THAT dumb" Craig admitted, his face turning red as he realised how sweet his friend was being. " Really?" Clyde asked hopefully, looking towards Craig. " Yea I mean.. Its kinda cute or whatever" Craig grumbled. " YEY! So will you taste it?!" Clyde asked, his confidence returning as he bounced up and down on the spot. " Am I going to regret this?" Craig winced, picking up the cup as Clyde shook his head excitedly, waiting in anticipation for a response. Craig sipped the coffee, surprised when it actually didn't taste like sewer water. " Damn" He said in shock, taking another sip and genuinely enjoying the flavour. " Dude!" Craig grinned, making Clyde smile proudly. " THIS IS AMAZING!" Craig laughed, chugging the entire mug. " You really liked it? You're not just saying that?" Clyde asked happily. "Clyde I think we've found your true calling" Craig grinned. " Nah, I just had the right motivation" Clyde blushed. When Craig raised an eyebrow in confusion, Clyde explained. " Well.. I wanted to do it for you. And it was hard as fuck and I failed so many times but everytime I did I thought of who I was doing it for.. And instead of giving up I just worked harder. I guess you inspire me" Clyde chuckled, his face pink as he grinned at his friend. "Th.. " Craig spluttered, flustered that he meant so much to Clyde. " Now uh.. Now you just gotta do that with school work" He teased in an attempt to hide the butterflies racing around in his chest. " I mean.. I think I could. I feel like I could do anything if it would make you smile this much" Clyde smiled warmly, making Craig feel like his chest would explode from how adorable this boy was being. He felt something happening and he couldn't help it whatever it was. His body moved seemingly on its own, and before he had even realised what had happened he had kissed his best friend. He turned even redder, eyes wide as he stared at Clyde. " IM SORRY I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED YOU WERE JUST BEING REALLY.. AND I.. " He spluttered in defense, watching Clydes expression turn into a frown. " So you.. Regret kissing me?" Clyde asked, dissapointment filling his voice. " NO! Wait I mean... Well.. I dont but.." Craig stammered. Clyde sighed, figuring that this was as good a time as any to tell the truth. " I like you Craig. Like.. Full homo" Clyde admitted. Craig looked back at him blankly, trying to decipher whether this was a joke or not. " Hold on you.. Youre being serious?" Craig realised. " For uh.. For once in my life" Clyde chuckled weakly, using humour to hide his nerves. " I think uh.. I think I feel the same" Craig admitted honestly, making Clyde smile.
