Kenny groaned, pulling the covers over his face to sheild his eyes from the sunlight spilling through the curtains. He rolled over, trying to get back to sleep, before suddenly shooting up excitedly. He had just remembered that today was his first day working at Tweek Bros. He leapt out of bed, grinning as he remembered why he had wanted the job so badly. Not only did working for Mr and Mrs Tweak mean that he would have access to free coffee whenever he wanted and a steady income for a change, but he also got the opportunity to spend his time with the most adorable spaz in south park. He grabbed his jeans from the floor, pulling them on in a rush and tripping in the process, landing face first on his bedroom floor. " KENNY!! " Karen yelled, running into his room and jumping on him, making him wince as she pushed him further into the floor. " Hey Kare bear" He smiled as she layed on him, hugging tightly. " Good morning! " She said happily, letting him stand up as he finished pulling up his jeans. " Morning, have you had breakfast yet? Shit what time is it? " He said, suddenly worried as he looked around for a clock. " Its six! " Karen said confidently. " Wait only six? " Kenny asked confused. " Yea, look! " Karen said, proudly presenting the watch he had bought her for her birthday. " Hmm.. You're close, but can you see where the little hand is? " Kenny corrected her, pointing to the hour hand. " Oh. Its seven o'clock right? " She asked hopefully, grinning proudly when Kenny nodded in encouragement. He had been teaching her how to read time ever since he had managed to save up enough to buy her a watch, and she was catching on fast. " Well done Kit kat! " He said, hugging her tightly. " Now go get some breakfast! I bought us some more bread yesterday so you can have toast if you want. " Kenny said happily as his sister raced downstairs. He sighed, digging his hands into his pockets and opening his now empty wallet. Hopefully this new job would pay him enough to feed everyone, since all his parents seemed to buy was alcohol. He opened his wardrobe, humming thoughtfully as he looked at his shirt options. "Black shirt, black shirt, oOoh black shirt. " He mumbled to himself, rolling his eyes at his limited clothing choices. Most of the things he wore were either ripped and broken, or hand me downs from his friends. He chuckled as he saw the fishnet shirt that Stan had worn in their metrosexual phase, that he only really kept around because he liked making fun of him. " Ah! " He said as he found what he had been looking for; his least worn looking shirt that he saved for special occasions. It was a simple button up white shirt, but he was so proud to own it. It made him feel responsible, like maybe he could actually look after his sister. He put it on, careful not to wrinkle it, catching sight of how he looked and finger gunning himself in the mirror, winking before spotting something in his teeth. He groaned, walking to the bathroom to brush them. He sighed sadly at the empty beer cans littering the hallway, picking them up and throwing them in the bathroom bin. As he brushed his teeth he stared at his reflection, making a silent promise that he would give Karen the home life that she deserved. He rinsed his toothbrush, running his hand through his hair and laughing slightly at how fluffy it looked as it fell over his face. He blew it sideways, walking out of the room and towards the stairs. " Hey dipshit" Kevin said, coming out of his room and ruffling Kennys hair. " Hey Kevin" Kenny groaned. " Why do you look so fancy today" Kennys brother asked curiously as he stared at his outfit. " Got a new job" Kenny replied bluntly, trying to end the conversation before Kevin started being a dick. " Let me guess, theres a twink there that your gay ass wanna fuck" Kevin teased, making Kenny blush slightly as his mind instantly flickered to Tweek. " Shut up dude" Kenny laughed, punching his brother lightly before going downstairs. He threw his parka on quickly, looking over to Karen who was happily munching on toast in front of the tv. He walked up to her, hugging her tightly from behind and gently kissing her head. " See ya Kare bear" He waved, turning to leave. She pouted at him. " Aren't you going to eat? " She asked. " Im not that hungry, besides you need the food more than me" He lied, blowing her a kiss before opening the door. " I'll be back around half three, see you soon! " He waved, shutting the door behind him. His stomach growled as he frowned. He would kill for some toast right now, but he wasn't sure when he would be paid next, so didn't want to risk Karen going hungry. Hopefully he could sneak a muffin or something from the coffee shop once he got there. He let his mind wander back to imagining how today was going to go, and he felt a smile forming on his face when images of Tweek clouded his brain. Before he knew it, he had made it to the shop. A blonde flash behind the glass caught his eye, and he grinned, staring happily as he caught sight of Tweek. He was about to open the door, but found himself glued to the spot as he watched Tweek smiling to himself as he zipped around the shop. He wondered what Tweek was so happy about. Suddenly Kenny realised that Tweek had seen him and he felt his face heat up when he thought about how creepy he must look right now. Tweek waved at him excitedly, jogging up to the door as Kenny walked in to meet him. " Hey GAH Kenny! " Tweek said as he smiled warmly. " Ahh, Mr McCormick, " Tweeks dad said, walking over to the pair before Kenny could respond. " Here's your apron, if you have any questions our son will be glad to help, we're glad to have you joining us here, now lets get to work making the world better one bean at a time! " He smiled welcomingly, handing Kenny an apron and nodding before disappearing into the staff room. " Man I'm so excited that you're GAH working with me" Tweek said happily as kenny put the apron around his neck. " I know, Im pretty great" Kenny smirked, winking and turning around. " Tie me up? " Tweek laughed, rolling his eyes as he tied up Kennys apron for him. " Nah I only want you here because I have too much work to do on my own" Tweek smirked back, and kenny gasped dramatically in response. " I know you love me really" Kenny pouted as they walked to stand behind the counter together. " It's normally pretty empty this early" Tweek explained as a customer walked into the shop. " Hello sir! What can I get you? " Tweek asked politely. " The usual please twitchy. The customer responded, taking his hood down to reveal a sleepy looking Stan. " Oh hey Stan! Coming right up! " Tweek smiled, going to make his drink. Kenny forced himself to stop staring at Tweek, jumping when he noticed Stan squinting at him. " Uh.. What's up dude? " Kenny chuckled. " Kenny? " Stan asked. " Since when do you work here? And since when do you own a shirt? " He laughed. " Watch it dick face" Kenny grinned. " This cutie said he needed some help around the place and I needed money so here I am" Kenny explained as Tweek came back with Stans order. " Isn't that right princess" Kenny smirked at Tweek who raised an eyebrow at him, giving Stan the drink. " Princess? " He asked. Kenny blushed slightly, finger gunning before looking away, embarrassed at being called out. " Thanks Tweek, bye Ken" Stan said, giving Tweek his money before leaving the shop. Kenny's stomach growled. " You hungry dude? " Tweek asked. " A little bit, kinda skipped on breakfast this morning " Kenny admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. Tweek looked concerned, rushing off into the back room. " Be right back! " Tweek grinned, making Kenny tilt his head in confusion. Kenny slumped onto a chair, swinging his legs and making popping noises with his mouth as he waited for his friend. After a while, the staff door swung open to reveal Tweek grinning, holding a box filled with warm pastries. " Ta da! " He grinned proudly, placing the box on Kennys lap. " My mum makes the pastries we sell fresh, and she always makes GAH too many" Tweek said happily as he watched Kenny drool as the smell of freshly cooked food filled his nose. " Tweekers, I genuinely love you so much" Kenny said, on the verge of tears as he stuffed a croissant into his mouth, groaning happily as he closed his eyes. Tweek blushed slightly. " Its nothing dude" He chuckled, happy to see his friend so content. " Tweek... please date me" Kenny accidentally let slip before realising what he had said and turning dark red. " Thats just the GAH pastries talking" Tweek chuckled nervously as Kenny stopped eating, meeting his eyes with a serious expression. " Its.. Its not. Tweek I love you. Like.. Love love" Kenny said, a sad look on his face that confused Tweek. " Why do you look so sad? " Tweek asked curiously, walking closer to his friend. " Because you don't feel the same way man.. But its whatever.. You probably like have a million girls after you anyways" Kenny smiled weakly. He felt Tweek place a finger on his chin, pulling his head to look up at him. " You're wrong Kenny" Tweek said, and Kenny was surprised to see a wide smile plastered on his face. Before Kenny knew what was happening, the two were kissing, both blushing and smiling goofily. " I love you too" Tweek said honestly, before licking his lips. " Damn my mum is getting really good at GAH cooking huh" Tweek giggled, tasting the pastry that Kenny had just finished. " Its the second best thing she's made" Kenny agreed, referring to Tweek who shook his head at the dork he was in love with.
