" Craiggg the z.. Zombie just killed the dogggyy" Clyde sobbed, stuffing popcorn into his mouth for comfort. " Why would he.. Do that? " He hiccuped, eyes fixed on the screen. Craig stared in horror at the film, frozen and holding a chip between his fingers that would never enter his mouth. Suddenly he had lost his appetite. When the movie ended, the pair walked out of the theatre in silence, the only noise being slight snifflles from Clyde. The two best friends slumped on a bench outside, staring straight ahead of them into the darkness as they waited for Clydes dad. " Dude. Fuck that" Craig finally said, earning a nod of agreement from Clyde. " Lets never see a scary movie without Token again." Clyde shuddered wiping his nose on his sleeve and earning a grimace from Craig. " Im just glad Tweekers didn't have to see that" Craig said thankfully, though the mention of his boyfriend made him suddenly feel the need to run to the coffee shop where he worked and hug him forever. A car beeped in front of the pair, who both screamed as they were still scared from the movie. Craig coughed, turning slightly red at the noise he had just made. " Its my dad dude. " Clyde breathed out, his heart still pounding in his chest. Clyde hopped in the passenger seat while Craig sat in the back, grateful that living next door to Clyde meant no walking home alone in the dark. " Hey boys, how was the film? ' Clydes dad asked happily as he began to drive. The pair simultaneously and unconvincingly replied " Fine", making Clydes dad chuckle. " Ok so how was it really? ". " Lets just say I thought I was gonna see mum again" Clyde shivered, making his father sigh. " That bad huh?". Clyde didn't reply, but felt a pang of guilt for bringing up his mum. " Wanna stay up with me and watch cartoons tonight kiddo? " His dad asked sympathetically to which Clyde nodded. Craig looked down at his hands, wishing that his dad was as nice as Clydes as he picked at scabs on his knuckles. " Here ya go Craig, see you tommorow. " Clydes dad said, pulling up in his own driveway. " Thanks, bye Mr Donovan" Craig smiled weakly before he was tackled into a bro hug by Clyde. " Night dude, good luck with the whole sleeping thing" The brunette said, squishing Craig tightly and slapping his back. " Yea, good night man" Craig replied, waving to the pair as he walked next door and inside. His parents were sat watching tv, and flipped him off in greeting as he closed the door. He did the same, tip toeing up to his room so that he didnt wake his sister. He shut his door, sliding down against it and burying his face in his hands. He still felt sick from the movie, and was physically afraid to sleep alone tonight. He groaned, standing up and wriggling out of his jeans. He undressed to his boxers, plopping down onto his bed and closing his eyes. He tossed and turned but every time he was just about to drift off he would be jolted awake by an image of a zombie, or a dead animal. He sighed in annoyance, sitting up. He looked over to Stripes cage, his eyes lighting up as he realised what would calm him down, but as he walked up to the cage and saw that his guinea pig was sleeping he groaned. The wind blew a leaf against the window, and Craig felt his heart jump in his chest. He was sweating now, his heart thumping in his ears. He felt more paranoid than Tweek. He wanted nothing more than to take comfort in the twitchy blondes hugs right now, but he didn't want to wake him. Then again, he was so jacked up on caffeine all the time that he probably wasn't asleep anyway. Surely it was worth a try? Craig pushed back the guilty feeling in his head as he picked up his phone, clicking his boyfriends contact. The phone rang for all of one second before he heard a familiar " GAH! " That made him instantly a little calmer. " Hey Craigy! Whats up. " Tweek answered. " Oh thank god, you're awake. " Craig sighed with relief, a smile ghosting over his face. " Yea... Are you okay babe? " Tweek asked cautiously. " Tweeky I love you so much" Craig said, hugging his knees as he scrunched up on his bed. " Craig, whats wrong? " Tweek asked as Craig sniffled quietly on his end of the call. " Honey do you need me to come to your house because I will. I don't care if its three in the fucking morning if my baby is upset I will drop everything and be there for you I swear. " Tweek offered, concern and love filling his voice. This made the usually stoic Craig burst into tears. " Craig! GAh! Its okay baby, don't cry, Im sorry! Tweeks here for you. " Tweek said reassuringly. " Just tell me whats wrong. " Craig sniffled, wiping his eyes as he hiccuped. " Me and Clyde.. Went to watch a movie but.. It was really scary and I.. Cant sleep and.. Stripe is asleep and.. My parents are dicks and.. " Craig sobbed. " Shhh.. Its okay baby.. " Tweek soothed him over the phone. " It was only a film, you're safe now. Remember what you always tell me when I'm stressed, focus on right now. Nothing bad is happening right now and you are safe. " Craig took a deep breath, grateful that his boyfriend was so understanding. " You're right. " He sighed, wiping his nose on his sleeve. " Thanks honey" Craig smiled. " Hey, after all the three AM calls you get from me this is the least I can do. Ooh and make yourself some warm milk baby, that always helps me sleep easier." Tweek replied gratefully. " Tweekers, wanna come over tomorrow? I know I only saw you earlier but I already miss you so much. " Craig asked shyly. He knew he sounded clingy but at this point he didnt care. " Sure babe, miss my spaceman too" Tweek cooed happily. " Now get some sleep" Tweek chuckled. " Okay Tweeky, love youuuuu" He smiled. " Love you too Tucker" Tweek smiled, hanging up his phone. Craig grinned, holding his phone to his heart lovingly and falling backwards onto his bed. " Tweek again right? " Tricia said from the doorway making Craig turn bright red as she chuckled and made mocking kissy faces at him. " Fuck off" Craig said, burying his face into his pillow. Craig hated showing the side that he showed to Tweek to anyone else, especially his little sister, but with the amount of time he spent with his boyfriend she seemed to always walk in at the wrong moments. " Im gonna make coffee" He grumbled, shoving past her as she cackled at his expression. " Dude its three in the morning you really want caffeine? " She laughed, following him into the kitchen when he ignored her. " Why do you make coffee so much anyways, you hate it and always let it go cold. "She questioned. He continued to ignore her, so she shrugged. " Ok well im tired as fuck, goodnight spaaaaceeemaannn" She mocked, using the nickname she had heard through the phone earlier. Craig rolled his eyes, smiling when the smell of the coffee hit him. That was the real reason he made the disgusting stuff. The smell of freshly ground beans smelled of his boyfriend, and no matter how far away he was it always seemed to comfort him. He chuckled at his own clingyness, bringing the mug with him to bed. Finally he felt like he was going to get a good nights sleep.
