The next day i woke up as usual and quickly ate breakfast before leaving for school.

"i'll go now!" i shouted to my mom who was in the living room

"okay, have a good day" she replied

"by the way, i'm going to hang out with Jeno after school again. is that okay?"

"of course, darling. you should go now or else you'll be late!" mom said and i said bye to her before i left

I got to school and surprisingly, no one annoyed me before my first class.

I was sitting in the class, lost in my own thoughts when i felt my phone vibrating in my pocket. I carefully took it out and checked the notification without the teacher noticing.

I sighed and put my phone back in to my pocket.

After two more hours, it was time for lunch. Renjun was absent and i thought of skipping eating but i was pretty hungry so i just decided to bear it and eat alone again.

I sat down and i was about to start eating but then i noticed Jeno and his friend, Haechan, coming to my direction.

"hi Jaemin" Jeno said as he sat next to me

I just ignored him and stuffed the rice into my mouth. For some reason, i felt nervous. Jeno had always been mean to me before and it was weird to see him being so kind.

"are you deaf or something?" Haechan asked and chuckled

"stop, Haechan" Jeno said but he was smiling
"but you should learn how to talk in person, you know. you're so sassy while texting but then you don't talk when we actually meet" Jeno continued

"sorry i'm trying to eat right now. also, i'm not really interested in being in contact with you except for the training stuff or whatever" i said and continued to eat

Haechan giggled and almost choked on his food. Jeno just scoffed but didn't say anything.

I finished eating and stood up, trying to leave.

"wait, Jaemin"

I turned around to look at Jeno who was standing right in front of me. I cleared my throat and backed up a few steps.

"what now?" i asked and raised an eyebrow

"meet me at the front doors after school. i'm pretty sure you don't know where my place is" he said and i nodded before quickly leaving the cafeteria

I went into a bathroom and messaged Renjun.
