ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ 9 | ᴀ ᴅᴀᴛᴇ?

I got back home and immediately noticed my mom preparing dinner in the kitchen. The smell of the food was really good and i smiled as i went to her.

"hi sweetie, did you have fun with Jeno?" she asked and i nodded

"yeah. we actually exercised together"

"ooh, really?"

"yes" i said and she chuckled "i'll go take a shower now"

"okay, i'll tell you when dinner is ready" mom said and i smiled

I took a quick shower before going to my room. I got dressed up and laid down on my bed.

I was scrolling through instagram when a notification popped up.

Jeno :)
Did you ask your mom yet?

I smiled and replied to his text.

Not yet, i'll talk to her while we eat

Jeno :)
Okay :>
Do you wanna hang out tomorrow?

Me
Do you mean exercising?

Jeno :)
No, i wanted to ask if you'd like
to go to the new cafe near our school

Me
Sounds nice :3

Suddenly my mom called for me and i sighed before quickly typing a message again.

Me
Sorry i have to go now

Jeno :)
Okay, see ya

I went to the kitchen and found mom sitting at the table with two plates of food. I sat down she gave the other plate to me.

I smiled and we both started to eat. After a while i decided to talk.

"when are you moving?" i asked and mom looked at me

"this saturday. do you have a place to stay at yet?"

I hummed "Mrs.Lee said i can stay at their house"

"is she Jeno's mother?"

"yeah" i said "is that okay?"

"Jeno seems really nice but i'd like to meet Mrs.Lee first. could you give me her number so i could talk with her?" mom asked and i nodded

"okay, i'll ask for it from Jeno and give i to you"

"thank you sweetie" she said and we both smiled

After eating dinner i went back into my room. I was about to message Jeno but then i decided to call him instead.

I cleared my throat and pressed the call button. After ten seconds he picked up.

"hi Jeno"

"what's up?"

"my mom would like to talk with yours so could you gave me her number?"

"oh, of course. why didn't you just text me?"

"i just thought calling would be faster. also, when's your last class tomorrow?"
