" What do I do Padme? I tried everything I can think of, but she won't open up to me." he ran a hand over his face, " Ugh...am I a bad master?"
Padme gently moved her fingers through his hair. " No Ani, you're not a bad master. Ahsoka is very lucky to have such a wonderful figure like you in her life." she said soothingly.
" Then why do I feel like I'm making everything worse?" he responded glumly.
" Have you told her how you feel?" Padme asked.
Anakin looked at her in confusion, " What do you mean?"
" I mean have you opened up to her. You want Ahsoka to open up to you, but have you tried to open up to her?"
Anakin thought back to the ship. He had found out that Ahsoka had scarred herself in order to feel in control of something. Although he listened to her, he didn't want to tell her how scared he was for her.
He shook his head and stared at the ground, " I guess I haven't."
" You should try that. It's getting late Ani. You might want to go back to your quarters so you can be there when Ahsoka wakes up."
" You're right. I'll see you tomorrow Angel." he kissed her passionately before heading back to the temple.
Ahsoka shuttered as she passed by more drunks eating her with their eyes. Anakin was there last time to protect her, but now she was alone.
The crisp night air blew against her. It had started to mist a little as well.
" Maybe this wasn't such a hot idea." she muttered.
Oh you really think that they would want you there. You're not worth it.
Ahsoka hated that voice, but couldn't help but agree with it. In some ways it was her guide. She found herself outside a rundown motel.
" I guess this will do."
The walls inside were pealing. There was a weird stench in the air as well. A smell of rust and gas mixed together making Ahsoka's nose scrunch. She went up to the front desk.
" Hello little lady, what are you doing here by yourself?" the man slurred, obviously drunk. How he was able to still talk full sentences, she would never know.
" I need a room for the night." she said firmly rolling her eyes at the way stared at her.
The man leaned forward, " That will be fifty credits."
Ahsoka handed him the credits and took the key he gave her. Someone else entered, but she had already turned into the hallway before she could see. As she was about to unlock her room a hand was placed on her shoulder.
" Ahsoka? I thought that was you."
Ahsoka was surprised by the boy standing behind her.
" Lux?"
