Anakin scoped ahead with Rex and Ahsoka following close behind. He made sure the coast was clear before heading out of the building and into the open. Jesse and Dogma were no where to be found.

" Kriff, where are they?" Anakin muttered under his breath. He stepped back and looked above to the roof that he had sent Echo and Kix up to. He saw them dangerously close to the edge. It had only been a few moments since he glanced up as they were now both falling over the top of the ledge.

" NO!" he heard Rex yell, which was enough to snap him out of his trance. He quickly focused on both men and held his hands out to slow their descent.

" I got you!" he shouted, carefully lowering them to the ground. He let out a sigh of relief once they were safely stable.

Echo immediately stood up, though a bit too fast. " Si-r, it's th-e Sith!" he said in between gasps.

" Jesse and Dogma are around back, we thought we could corner her." Kix finished for him.

Anakin saw a series of blue blaster fire shoot up from the other side. "Go with Rex, comm the other two and take Ahsoka to the transport." he ordered. " I'll take care of her..." he growled.

" Commander Tano?!" Kix exclaimed, rushing to check her for any injuries.

Ahsoka still refused to leave the Captain's side. Anakin watched as she allowed Kix to examine her, which only made him feel worse about himself. He gave her one last desperate look before jumping up to the roof.

The minute he touched the surface, he had to pull out his lightsaber to deflect a swing that would have easily chopped his head clean off.

" I was wondering when you would get here." the heavy accented voice slurred.

Anakin burned with pique as he saw the person responsible for everything.

" You, what did you do to my Padawan!" he roared jumping into the air, bringing his saber down.

Akorra blocked the attack- force pushing him to the side then slamming him on the stone roof top.

" I showed her what I needed to." she hissed, kicking the young Knight, but before she could get another hit, Anakin flipped out of the way.

" Tell me what you showed her!" he yelled back. The way the Sith just smiled and chuckled pushed his limits. " I. SAID. TELL. ME. WHAT. YOU. SHOWED. HER." he gathered the energy from the force around him. The next second he heard Akorra gasping for air.

He realized she was suspended above the ground; her hands to her neck. This time he was the one smiling. The feeling of her life in his hands was pleasing. He brought his saber to her collarbone just enough so that it burned.

" Y-ou th-ink you've be-aten me?" she choked out.

Anakin rolled his eyes, tightening his fist. " I would think so. Tell me what I want to know and I'll consider making your death quick and painless."

" If I can't ha-ve her, neith-er c-an y-ou!" she sputtered, straining her head to come in contact with the blue light.

Anakin dropped his saber as the Togruta's head slid off. He couldn't even comprehend what had just happened. All he knew was that he had lost his only source to answers and with that Ahsoka as well.
