Christmas, 1973

"It's snowing! El wake up! IT'S SNOWING!" The four boys had entered the girl's dormitory which like every year was empty during Christmas Holidays. Lily, Alice and Jessica were always away this period. Electra didn't care much. Even though sometimes she missed their late night conversations. The ones about boys or some heart to heart conversations. Of course the Marauders were everything for her and she could do everything with them but there were some things that would be different with girls.

She felt someone pulling away her blanket causing her to wrap herself in a ball trying not to feel cold. She had spent her entire night discussing with Jessica who left early on Christmas' day whether she should confess him her feelings or not. Of course Electra had just rolled her eyes and told her that she was blond and he was finding really attractive the girls with blonde hair.

"Just let me sleep Potter!" She replied angrily to her friend who had just given a signal to open the window and let the cold air enter the room.

She felt four arms lifting her from her bed and immediately stood up and grapped from Sirius' neck knowing what they were about to do. "No! NO! I'M NOT READY TO DIE!" She shouted trying to pull Remus and Sirius back keeping them from taking closer to the window. But they didn't seem to back off. "How am I going to give you your presents if you throw me off?? LET ME DOWN NOW!!" She added screaming as her feet were touching the window's wall.

"Our loving star, we would never hurt you!" The boy with long black hair said and smiled at her reassuringly.

"If you actually thought that I would have taken part in your murder you don't know me at all." Remus added and messed her hair with his hand.

James had lifted his chin up and was laughing staring at the ceiling with his eyes watering. He almost fell from laughter. Peter was laughing as well but he was laughing at James' laugh. After he found himself in the position of speaking he walked up to the three Marauders and addressed to Electra.

"The window's glass is still there El. It was just a new trick we discovered yesterday and we had to give it a try."

"Yes! We just wanted you to see the snow!" Sirius said with a huge smile on his face. He looked like a five year old boy who hadn't seen snow for years.

"Wait! IS IT SNOWING?!"

"Excuse me? Aren't you paying attention to me?" James suddenly asked in a very serious tone.

"You were really cruel by waking me up like that Potter!" The girl said still sitting on Remus' and Sirius' arms. Both of them shook their head in agreement slightly making fun the girl's reaction.

"Come on get dressed! We have to open our presents and eat and go for a snowball fight! We don't have all day!" James said without answering to her and changed immediately the subject. "Come on boys! Give the girl some privacy." He said somehow ordering his friends to follow him.

As soon as the exited the girl dressed as warm as she could, putting on a red sweater of hers which if she dared to wear in her house she would be sent elsewhere for a period of time. She looked her hair at the mirror. She thought of turning them into green so she could look like a Christmas tree but concluded that it would be too much. So she just turned them to brown and added golden highlights just to come in contrast to her sweater and much the holidays' spirit.

She walked towards the Gryffindor's common room and scanned it searching for her friends who were probably in the Great Hall eating. There were lots of presents under the tree and judging from the fact that everyone would have opened them she concluded that the Marauders were waiting for her. She smiled, keeping herself from stepping near the presents and then exited the common room.
