February 12th, 1974

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good!" The boy with the glasses said and hit the parchment with his wand. Seconds later the whole school was depicting on the map. He looked around trying not to get caught and started following the map heading somewhere. Behind there was a dog following him who didn't even making a sound. Like his feet were made from pillows. In complete silence the both Marauders walked around the corridors of Hogwarts.

James was not taking his eyes of the map since he was trying not to get confused with the moving stairs. Due to Sirius talent and passion at drawing the map the stairs were moving exactly like the real ones so it was easier for them to understand which way to follow.

"You know Sirius, I don't even know why did I agree on this." The dog didn't reply he just kept following the boy with his tail moving from joy and excitement. After all he loved sneaking out of the dormitories and wander around the castle in the night. Having the map in his possession made him even happier since at anytime he could see the whole school and decided what would he like to do. There were many times he even sneak out of the school grounds and going to Hogsmeade, sometimes accompanied by James, some others Electra, sometimes alone.

The two Marauders had reached the potions class and the Sirius transformed back to his normal form.

"To answer your question James deer" Sirius winked at his friend who smirked at his comment "it was your idea if I can recall."

"NO!"

"Yes..."

"Then I have to say that it was a great one." James said as soon as he realised that it was his idea and his ideas according to him were the best of all time. Sirius rolled his eyes and moved forward casting a spell on the door in order to open. "Well I never asked, how's Narcissa?" James said after entering slowly trying not to make any noise into the class.

"Did you actually think that I know?" The long haired boy said and laughed following his friend inside. "All I know is that Lucius couldn't take his eyes off Diane Kingsley for three weeks. I really hope that this continues till Valentine's Day."

"Speaking of this Saturday. Who are you going to go out with?" James said looking at his friend with a smirk on his face. "There are a lot in line! And if you ask for my honest opinion this Jessica doesn't seem bad."

"I'll let them in agony for a little bit longer." He replied smirking as well and then stopped for a while thinking of his friend suggestion. "Jess... Well she's nice. But man! She's crazy! All she thinks about is love. You should see her in the Divination class." and he started mimicking Trelawny's voice "Search inside you to find the answers! Tell me dear, what do you see in your crystal globe? And she turns and says Well I'm not sure about that but there's a heart in my globe. Doesn't that mean that I'll find my true love at any moment now? At this point you see me looking elsewhere trying to hide my smile, El focusing on her globe trying not to turn red from trying to hold her laugh and Sybil moving forward to another table."

The two boys started laughing making a little noise. "Come on we have to find the luck potion." James said and tapped his friend on the shoulder passing him the messay to start searching along with him.

"So here's the plan. We find the potion. We're emptying a little bit of it in this bottle of mine and then we're leaving. It's the only chance!"

"You sound desperate... Look James, I have told you various times. It doesn't lead anywhere. You have to move forward!"
