"Well I mean you could've knocked first."

September 1st, 1971
People -muggles and wizards- were running up and down the train station. Others to catch the train others to find the one who were waiting for. People of all ages were gathered in the London Station. From little kids on their mothers hugs to old men with newspapers half hidden in their coats' pockets. And there it was, the wall. The wall between Platfrom 9 and Platform 10. She had passed it so many times in the past but this time was completely different. It was the first time she would pass it with her own suitcase with her own invitation to Hogwarts.
Electra hadn't managed to get as much sleep as it was required for a girl about her age the previous night. Anxiety, the feeling that she was not worthy of her family, the long conversation with her brothers. She was up before the clock had rung 5 o'clock and as soon as she checked up for the second time her suitcase if everything was in, she dressed up and stormed into the kitchen but without taking the house elf by surprise. As it seems she could tell that she was about to be super excited about the day and had already cooked and served her breakfast. Her parents were up after a while but despite the early hour of them waking up they ended up arriving at the station pretty late.
"Why am I not surprised by our delay?" Perseus said ironically to her sister who was trying not to show so intrigued by the time.
"We're just on time Perseus. There is no need to come earlier here. You're not going to earn something from this either way. Just a waste of time." Jason Star said completely indifferent for his children's will. "We'll see each other again in a few months." and he started walking away leaving his kids behind.
"Who needs a caring father anyway? Come on now, you're definitely not sitting with me but I guess I can show you around." The boy joked and hopped onto the train with his sister following him.
Electra sat on the first empty compartment she found. She wasn't sure of what she was supposed to do. Her brother had introduced her to a couple of his friends and then he went away. She sat and after placing her things next to her she sat with her back on the door looking outside the window. And the train was about to start. A loud noise was heard from the engine of the train and it started moving. She put her legs into the seat as well and stood there laughing at the expressions of the parents who were running behind the train to manage to send their kids one more kiss. She felt the urge to laugh at them. There was no point actually. Running along with the train? What on earth? They could not reach it even if they tried really hard. But maybe it was just that. Maybe it was the fact that she was trying not to feel sorry for herself because of her parents.
Anyway she rested her back on the glass which was separating the main corridor from the compartment and focused on the raindrops that had dropped on her window. As the train was running they were running with it and the question was, which one of the raindrops is going to win on their race? She was so focused on it that she almost fell from her seat when the door opened suddenly.
A boy walked in with black hair on shoulder length. Followed by another one with round glasses and curly dark brown hair. They hadn't probably seen her due to the fact that she was curled up in her corner but after she almost fell she had made quite the impression. "Well I mean you could've knocked first." She said standing up in order to meet the two boys who raised their hands for a greeting. "I'm Electra Star."
"James Potter" the boy with the glasses said and as she was about to shake his hand he pulled it back with a playful smirk on his hand "Too slow." But then he shook her hand not wanting to leave a bad impression.
She turned towards the other boy who was trying not to laugh at the greeting. "I'm Sirius Black" he said extending his hand towards her side but James stepped in between taking the girl by surprise "Such an honour to meet you" James replied and Electra looked at the ceiling laughing.
"Okay okay apart from the fun part, I'm really happy to meet you" James said and sat on the other seat next to the window.
Electra raised her eyebrow "We just met! How do you know that you're happy to meet us?" The boy looked at her and then at Sirius who was as confused as the girl but in a good way. It was pretty obvious that he was enjoying the boy's company even though they had just met.
"You seem nice. And well, most importantly you have a great sense of humour. You could be mad at me about how I introduced myself to you." The two other children exchanged a glance and nodded that he was right.
"What you just said was the best description about me. Like, really! I have thought in the past about changing my name. Since it's not so character reflecting but quite the opposite. Imagine being a fun guy with the name Sirius." He said emphasizing on his last sentence and pretended to collapse on the seat next to James and across Electra.
"What a tragedy... You've must have been through really hard times with a name like that and your personality." The girl said in such a serious tone that the boys had to look at her in order to realize that she was just messing around. They bust into laughter and they would continue laughing if it wasn't for the old lady with the trolley with sweets.

"There, eat the green one!" Electra said handing a Bertie Botts every flavour been to Sirius
"You must be joking right? Nobody eats the green ones! Even if their taste is normal it's horrible!" He said pulling as far as he could with James rolling his eyes at him and El laughing. "If you think it's so funny, why don't you eat it?"
"Okay!" She said and bit the edge of it. "It's grape. Nothing exciting..." And she was about to have another bite but James didn't let her since he grabbed the bean and put it all in his mouth. Unfortunately for him it wasn't what he was expecting and disgust was spread all over his face making the other two laugh like there was no tomorrow.
"What flavour was it?" Sirius asked the girl trying to calm himself down from the sudden laugh.
"Dirty sock..." El said and began laughing again.
"Look who was right all along!"
James looked at both of them right after he spat outside from the window the bean and emptying a whole bottle of water. "I'd really like to know what would you do if you were in my place!"
"We wouldn't my friend, I'm a Sirius person. And you just got ElectrAfied!" The other two rolled their eyes at him trying not to laugh.
