3rd Act: -I-

"Firstly, Evans my name is James Fleamont Potter, not Squid."

September 1st, 1975

"IRIS!" James exclaimed opening his arms waiting for a hug and the girl ran up to him hugging him tight. "It's been AGES since I last saw you! Let me see you... Well, you're still average height. Don't worry though. Nobody is perfect"

"Excuse me did you just refer to me as nobody? Wow thanks mate!" Sirius said as he was approaching his friends. His phrase was followed by inaudible laughs coming from girls walking in the corridor of the train in search of an empty compartment. One of them actually looked at Sirius and smiled at him earning a smirk from the boy.

"EVANS!" James voice suddenly filled the train. The five Marauders turned to look at the direction James was looking. Lily had just sat her foot on the train accompanied by Alice and Mary and let out a sigh. She couldn't believe that she had to face him for once more each day for the whole school year. James stepped in front of the Marauders and walked up to her smiling. "It's so great to see you again! Alice, Mary, how's life going girls?"

"It was great untill you decided to appear..." Lily said returning the smile to the boy.

Electra after exchanging a look with Alice and Mary nodded and went up next to James "GIRLS I'M SO EXCITED SEEING YOU! I've missed youuu" she said hugging all of them "come on, this time we're going to share the same compartment! We found a completely empty one. Come! Come!" She said and went from behind pushing her friends into the compartment where Remus, Peter and Sirius were sitting.

Sirius stood up and kisses each girl's hand apart from Lily's because he knew that James would never forgive him. "Hello ladies" he said and winked.

"Stay away Black I have a boyfriend!" said Alice laughing with him. Mary just rolled her eyes and then looked at Remus with a huge smile on her face but didn't say anything. But it was enough for Electra to understand what was happening.

"Was that a... Rejection?!" Peter said laughing with Sirius who were standing there amazed by what had happened.

"Wait till my fans appear. I'm something like John Lennon!" He replied making everyone on the compartment roll their eyes. "What? I really am!"

"Calm down Lennon... You don't want to be in detention from the first day of school!" Lily said exchanging a knowing look with Remus. James looked at her with his eyes full of question. Remus smiled at the sight and made himself comfortable on the seat looking at his two friends.

"Oh no... NO! Lily pleaseeeee don't do this!" Electra said as soon as she understood what was her friend talking about. "I beg you! Don't take all the joy away from us!" She continued and fake tears formed into her eyes. Lily couldn't help but laugh at the sight of her best friend literally begging for being kind towards them.

"Fine... Just stay away from the love of my life, the squid!" She replied to her friend who busted out laughing along with the rest of the teens sharing the compartment apart from James who couldn't understand what was going on.

"Firstly, Evans my name is James Fleamont Potter, not Squid. And secondly, what is happening?"

Mary spoke up "Lily is a perfect this year and so is Remus? If I understood correctly." James eyes widened and from Lily his glance landed on the boy sitting and smirking at the whole situation. "So I was thinking, maybe this year we should hang out more often! I really enjoy your company!" Mary continued and Electra was ready to laugh from what was her friend trying to do but just smiled and touched her shoulder.

"Of course we will!" She said smiling first at her, then at Remus then at Lily and lastly she winked at James letting him know that she would do whatever she could in order to bring him and Lily close.
