"There's no way you two staying together this year. Two years were enough. I'm sorry kids but I'll have to separate you."

They were in the dungeons in the potions class. The smoke of different filters was casually getting into everyone's view and professor Slughorn was addressing to Electra and Sirius who for once more they had joined their forces into the class. The previous weeks they had managed make their cauldron explode, make a potion which was causing instant death instead of the one who would make the flowers bloom, and making a hole onto their bench due to a drop of another filter which was meant to be healing but turned up to be able to burn everything.

"Just for today, Sirius I'd like you to partner up with Lily. Lily dear teach him what you know!" He said smiling widely at the redhead who looked a little bit disappointed from her professor's idea but since she was his favourite she decided not to make him regret his choice. "And Electra you can partner up with Severus." The girl let out a deep breath and after punching Sirius on the arm because he was laughing and moved towards Snape who was as happy as her with this decision.

"Look, I have a reputation here. You're not going to ruin it for me." The boy said to her as soon as she reached him

"Oh really? I thought it was Lily the one who was doing the whole work!" She snapped back looking straight into his eyes till he decided to look away from her and sighed with aversion.

"Well Evans as it seems you'll have to talk to me after all. Who knows maybe you'll change your mind about me and James as well."

"That's not happening Black. I know very well who you two are... I'm surprised that El and Remus are still hanging out with you. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't even talk to you."

"I'm not as sad as you think at your words my dear Evans..." Sirius said and smirked the girl just rolled her eyes and tried to get a glance of her best friend who was talking to Severus. For a moment she thought that if they know eachother thy might go along well. Deep down she knew that this was a science fiction story.

The potion that they were supposed to make was one of the easiest ones according to Slughorn. It was prolonging the endurance of someone it was easily made. The professor was wandering around the class observing their students' potions. Some of them, like Remus and Peter had already finished it, some others, like James were doing their best to put the correct amount of ingredients, and some others like two girls from Slytherin whose name had never been heard hadn't even started.

Sirius was glancing at James who as long as he was trying to measure the correct amount of the ingredients was sending him signals to talk about him to Lily. Lily was explaining to the boy what she was about to do trying to make him understand. Well the truth is that he was paying attention, okay not the whole time but most of it. He even threw some ingredients into the cauldron as well. It didn't matter that the amount wasn't correct and the potion was a little bit ruined since Lily saved the day by adding some more ingredients. At least he had the spirit now.

On the other hand Electra was standing next to Severus who was constantly adding more and more ingredients into the cauldron and reading from his book. She was just standing not knowing what to do apart from observing his actions. But since he was doing things so fast she had lost count of steps, she didn't even know which ingredient was he about to add next. She had to admit that she was useless at potions but she was actually trying her best to understand what he was doing. But he was moving so fast that only an expert could keep up with him.

"Come on let me add something!" She snapped at him seeing that he was trying his best to ignore her. He didn't replied he just kept on throwing things into the cauldron. "Severus! Listen here how are you supposed to help me if you don't let me to do anything?" He turned his head to look at her.
