"It's a shame that we won't be together guys... I really like your company."

The three children were messing around in their compartment this time with their robes on. In any moment they would arrive. Their excitement could be easily spotted in their faces. Sirius took off his robe and stood with his white shirt and trousers earning a questioning look from his new friends. "What? It's really hot in here."

"Oh I'm sorry. I can't help it. I'm so hot and that's have an effect on you too..." The boys looked at Electra who had just spoken.

"Electra Star, you really are the something else!" Sirius said looking at her and leaned towards James who could not breath from laughter to join him.

After some minutes of laughing for once more James looked at the two others. He removed his glasses from his eyes and opened his mouth to speak. "Do you have any house in mind?"

Sirius looked at the boy and seemed a bit sceptical in contrast to the girl who immediately spoke up. "Slytherin! I mean my whole family was sorted there and well I really want to continue the tradition."

"Anything but Slytherin" Sirius said sadly due to the girl's enthusiasm and smiled to her bitterly. "My whole family was sorted there as well but I want to be different. My wand was different so I think that if I'm lucky enough I'll get to escape this house. Sorting hat never lies."

El lowered her head well she had just met someone with whom she could hang out but as it seems he was going to be in another house from her she just hoped that James would be with her. "What about you James?"

"My whole family was in Gryffindor... It's a shame that we won't be together guys... I really like your company."

All of them stood in silence. Electra immediately thought of her parents words. Her friends should be from the same house, Slytherin. The others are potential enemies. Sirius's words stopped her thoughts "Come on guys, cheer up! We'll still get to hang out together!" James liked the idea but Electra didn't seem so sure. She really wanted to hang out with them but what would her parents say? "Some of the best people on Hogwarts are on these categories. And I want you to know that some of them can be your most loyal friends. So don't make any exceptions!" Perseus's words sprang into her mind. She looked up at the boys who had stood up and were working on a handshake for when they would see eachother in the Hogwarts' corridors.

"Hey! I want a handshake too!" She said standing up as well. The boys looked at her and pulled her in a hug.

"You don't need a handshake." "We'll just hug you in the corridors" The boys said one completing another.

"Sirius Orion Black" a woman with sharp high hat said and the boy after looking back at his friends who smiled to him encouragingly moved towards the woman with a catalogue in one hand where the names were written and the Sorting Hat to the other.

Sirius sat on the chair and waited for the Hat to land on his head and make its choice. He closed his eyes repeating to himself "Anything but Slytherin, anything but Slytherin. I'm not like the rest of them. I'm really not."

"You're definitely not. You may be a Black but yes, you're different... But I don't know. Maybe I shall put you in Slytherin just to prove to them that despite that you're different... But you don't want that. But it's a shame you have lots of potential.

"Not Slytherin. Please don't put me there..."  He was desperate, he really believed that by being sorted somewhere else he could make a fresh start. That he could forget about his family beliefs. He closed his eyes more tight.

"GRYFFINDOR!" The Sorting Hat announced. Sirius smiled from relief and half walking half running reached his house table where he was welcomed by thunderous applause.

Electra and James were casually criticizing every person who was walking towards the hat who all of them were proved to be sorted in Ravenclow and then there were some Hufflepuffs who were so scared but so sweet as they were sitting and as soon as the hat decided to sort them in Hufflepuff they formed a smile which reached  their ears. Not to mention that they had sorted all of the kids in the four houses and they were surprised noticing that most of the times they were correct.

"Lily Evans" Electra saw a girl with red hair walking up to the hat after turning to look at her friend whose hair seemed really dirty. As soon as she turned around so the rest of the students could see her face Electra recognised her. She was the girl from Ollivander's! She turned to share her experience with James but he seemed so absorbed that she couldn't help but laugh.

"She's really pretty!"

"Is she?" She turned to look at her again. Well she wouldn't say that she was pretty. The adjective who would suit her best was unique. Yes, that was it.

"GRYFFINDOR!"

James flashed from excitement "You know what that means El, right? I'll get to know her! She'll have the same classes with me, the same common room! That's a sign from universe." She shook her head laughing at him.

As the the time was passing most of the students had been sorted to their houses and started encountering with other people. Electra was quietly waiting for her turn since P had passed, and James was sorted to Gryffindor as well. She had started counting the people and where each one of them was sorted but she pretty soon lost count. She stood on her tip toes  glancing over Gryffindor's table to see her new friends hanging out with two other guys and James at times throwing glances at Lily. She exhaled deeply and that was the moment that her name was said.

"Electra Star"

She quickly glanced at Slytherin's table just to get an encouraging look from her brother who smiled at her and waved her that everything was going to be fine. With quick steps she reached the chair and after smiling awkwardly to the professor she sat down. The hat hadn't quite managed to touch her head when it announced her house.

"GRYFFINDOR"

Electra's eyes widened from surprise and she almost teared up at the hearing of her house. She turned to look to her brother. Perseus was up in the bench and clapping for her with a huge grin on his face in contrast to the other Slytherins. She stood up and trying not to seem disappointed with her head high she walked steadily to the Gryffindor's table where she immediately sat in between Sirius and James who welcomed her smiling and hugged her.

"El, let us introduce you to the boys from here." James said taking his eyes off the redhead girl sitting next to some others first-year students.

"I'll let you but I don't know if you let me introducing to them." She said referring to their meeting on train

"You can't be thinking so low for us... I'm deeply hurt" Sirius said offended but the girl only rolled her eyes at him.

"Electra Star"

"Remus Lupin"

"Peter Pettigrew"
