The days had passed and the now called Marauders were the most popular kids on their year and from the most well known from all houses and years. Of course that had some consequences on the house's points but since the house cap wasn't something they would care about, it didn't matter to them. Also thanks to Remus' intelligence and Evans' will to study, most of the points that were lost because of the group were returning from correct answers and excellent capabilities.

The ghosts of Hogwarts were on good terms with them, apart from Moaning Myrtle who even though had a crush on James, he was so obsessed with Lily that he was laughing with her attempts to catch his attention. He was continuously saying to his friends that he hoped his children wouldn't have a ghost as obsessed as her with them. She along with Peeves had tried lots of times to sabotage the Marauders' pranks and most of the times they were succeeding. The pranks were held with success but afterwards they were the first who would snitch them on McGonagall.

She had tried lots of times to let them get away with it saying that she didn't want to lose the house cup to Ravenclow for once more. According to Sirius "Minnie", as he used to call McGonagall between his friend group, really liked them because deep down she was enjoying their pranks as well. And as he was saying, and everyone was believing him, most of the times she was trying her best not to laugh with them. And the truth is that every time they were gathered in her office to be inform about their detention when she was talking about their prank she was tightening her lips trying not to smile at the thought.

December 24th, 1971

Electra was outside the Slytherin's common room talking with her brother who had rested his back on the wall behind him. Their parents had sent a letter asking him to return for Christmas. "Pers, you can talk to me I'm not a little girl anymore I can understand!" She said and her hair colour changed to a different shade of brown which was really close to red.

"It's nothing! Orph wants to have me home on Christmas."

"And why he didn't ask for me as well? What is it? It has to do with the first letter we got right? The one you didn't tell me about..."

"No El, relax, everything is fine. Really! They just want me to go home. And to be completely honest they're afraid that they may loose their power over me. Maybe that's why they want me home. Don't worry!" He said and put his hand on her shoulder and looking directly into her eyes.

"I wasn't born yesterday Pers... What is it?"

"Don't try to make something out of  nowhere Electra!" Perseus said raising his voice and started walking towards the great hall followed by his things which were flying behind him.

She stood there with her eyes slowly being completely covered by tears. The figure of her brother began to fade due to the water in her eyes and lowered her head not wanting to be seen crying. Her glance fell onto a piece of paper. She immediately recognised her family's mark and bend down to pick it up. And she would have read it if it wasn't for her friends running towards her.

"El, El, Remus and Peter are leaving! Come say goodbye!" James said and grabbed the girl from the wrist causing her to start running with them.

They found the two boys waiting for them outside the platform. Both of them were tired due to their early wakening. They hugged eachother promising that they'll be in touch even though the holidays weren't lasting for more that two weeks but Peter didn't want to lose anything from what was happening in Hogwarts. As for Remus he said just one thing. "I know you couldn't manage anything if it weren't for me because all of you are idiots. So if you need any help with any kind of prank, just send me an owl." And the rest of the group clearly amazed after some seconds of silence busted into laughter along with him. The two boys got into the train and Electra saw her brother getting in as well. She took a deep breath and turned around following her friends

Christmas Holidays on Hogwarts was really something. The great hall was fully decorated with  12 Christmas trees. Some of them thanks to the silver stars that were hanging from their branches were shining while some others were were decorated with snowflakes and candles. Garlands made from mistletoe were hanging on the walls all over the castle and sometimes appearing out of nowhere. The last one was making James really happy as he was telling the others with any chance given for obvious reasons.

"But just think about it!" he said as they were sitting in their common room near the fireplace which was the only warm place around Hogwarts. "I'm casually walking around the castle, alone-"

"Yeah, that sounds pretty realistic, since most of the times you're wandering around without any company." Sirius said sarcastically winking at El who tried really hard not to laugh at his comment knowing that this would hurt James.

"So as I was saying before my friend Black from here decided to interrupt me, I'm walking alone through the corridors of the castle and then I see Lily walking towards me. I speed up and there we are, only inches apart, and then we look up just to see a mistletoe appearing above us."

"Who's gonna tell him Sirius?" El addressed to her friend who just looked at her and then looked away not wanting to take responsibility of anything.

"Tell me what?" Sirius just raised his shoulders trying to convince him that he didn't know anything.

"Well James don't take that personally, but Lily left early in the morning with the first train. She had missed her parents and her sister."  

"You can't be serious..."

"Of course not, she's Electra, I'm Sirius!"James was in the verge of tearing up but when Sirius spoke he started laughing so hard that he began to turn red due to the fact that he couldn't manage to take a breath.  

"You could really use a breath you know..." El said between her gigles. 

"I don't believe that you actually managed to do that! From the first day on the train I was really careful!" And then James stood up and headed towards his dormitory leaving Sirius and El alone near the fireplace.

"Hey, what happened? Since we found you outside the Slytherin's common room you're not the same. Who do we have to prank this time?" he asked the girl smiling

Electra took her eyes off the joyful bright orange and red flames which were dancing in the fireplace.

"Do you swear that you won't tell anyone?" the boy nodded and smiled encouragingly. "You know that when we first met I wanted to be in Slytherin. And my parents were also convinced about it. I don't know what the shorting hat saw in me but I'm really happy I'm with you. The following day we got a letter from home that Perseus didn't let me read. I thought that it wouldn't be important but now he got another one saying that he should return home for christmas. When I asked him why I couldn't, he just replied saying that it didn't matter and walked away. the problem is that the letter fell. And I read it." she stopped taking a deep breath trying to hold her tears back. "They don't want me home Sirius... They were saying that they were wrong about Pers ended up being a blood traitor and that I am the one. I just hope that when I return they would've changed their minds."

"Do you know why am I here?" she shook her head negatively "My mother doesn't want me home either. And I'm living with this ever since I could have a personal opinion about stuff like blood supremacy. And I'm not telling you that to feel sorry for me. I'm telling you this because you're not alone. Both of us found a family here!"

"You really sound much more mature than you actually are Black. Thank you!" She said and smiled at him before both of them getting separated to return to their dormitories.
