"Are you seriously coming with us?" Remus asked Lily Evans who was walking next to him with a smile on her face. She nodded. "Was it James or Electra who convinced you to come?"
The girl turned to face the tall boy and the cute couple of Peter and Charlotte. "Actually it was Sirius. He's been begging me for the whole week to come... "
"Consider this a win. The rest of the female population was begging James to leave the trials open so they could see Sirius." Peter smirked at the redhead and then turned to face Charlotte who was looking around. "What is it?"
Charlotte looked at her boyfriend and then stared at the Quidditch field slowly appearing in front of them. "I don't think that I should come. I don't want people taking the wrong impression that I'm dating you and still going to see Sirius."
Remus looked at her sceptically and then trailed his gaze to Peter. The boy seemed a little bit annoyed. "It doesn't matter what the people think of you Charlotte. As long as the people you love know the truth and are there to take your side." Remus said talking from personal experience. Charlotte didn't know what was he talking about but his words seemed right to her. She smiled and took Peter's hand in her palm.
"You're right. After all everyone knows that Diane is the only girl Sirius cares about." She said with relief as a reminder to herself that no one would pay attention to her. The three friends looked at her with surprise on their face. "What? Most of the times he's not with you he's after her."
The three friends tried to hide their smiles. The thought of Electra finding out what everyone thought seemed disastrous. However they preferred to remain silent causing the Hufflepuff girl stare at them with a questioning look. They continued walking until they reached the field. The sight they came across was beyond any fantasy. For the first time in forever the field was covered not only from boys interested in the sport but with girls from every house awaiting to see, who else, the one and only Sirius Black.
They saw James walking out of the tent where the team was and getting ready. He nodded the girls to go away and Electra followed behind him bringing along with her wand the box with the four balls. "Okay ladies, back to your houses' towers. We have a job here to do."
As a sound of irritation was sounded from the girls and started walking towards their towers James walked up to his friends with a smile on his face. Electra after sending the box in the middle of the field she ran to catch up with her friend.
"Terrible weather... And with all these I doubt if we'll manage cast the trials without having the whole team wet." James said and walked up to the sky.
The sun was hidden behind thick and large clouds. They seemed like one whole thing like a blanket was covering up the sun. From afar lightnings could be seen and each time there were heading closer and closer to Hogwarts. It wasn't a windy day but the cold was slithering through the sleeves of clothes making the teens shiver at times.
"How many are trying for the position?" Lily asked taking Peter and Remus by surprise that he had addressed to James but he wasn't he that he replied.
Electra stepped forward. "Four... But that doesn't mean anything because Sirius is set to be the last one. And with all this herd of girls I doubt that we're going to have a real outcome."
"Why are you saying that?" Sirius said and the group of friends turned to face him. Electra smiled and the boy went to stand next to her resting his arm on her shoulder.
