"Even though we're born to be Slytherins our siblings shorted in Gryffindor."

August 25th, 1973

Sirius was lying on his bed with his room door locked. Not that this was keeping anyone out of his room. If they really wanted they could enter. On his hands he was holding a letter from James. He didn't know if he should laugh with what his best friend was writing and doing in order to get Evans' attention or feel sorry for him. She was literally all that he was talking about. Except for the Quidditch final of course and some pranks he was planning for this year.

He placed the letter next to him and stood up moving towards his window.  He really had the worst room in the house. Even the guest rooms and the attick were better. The view from the window was his neighbour's yard and he had a little sight of the sidewalk right underneath him. And that was all.

In contrast to the rest of his house his room was filled with red and gold shades. Flags were hanging from his bed with Gryffindor's lion on them and everywhere you were turning your head there was another trophy reminding whoever was entering the house that in contrast to his family he was a proud Gryffindor.

A knock on his door made him turn his head from the window back to his room. Whoever was knocking his door wasn't his mother. Walburga would not even thought of knocking or even making it obvious that she was about to enter. She would just teleport inside his room. He walked towards the door and opened it letting out a sigh and lowering his head from boredom and passing his fingers through his black hair.

"How can I help you, my sweet cousin?" He asked Narcissa, who was standing in front on of his door, sarcastically.

"Well, I guess for once in your life you can be useful. Relieve us from your friend's company." She said stepping aside and started to walk away leaving Sirius with a questioning look on his face since he wasn't seeing anyone. He turned to see on his right when a girl fell into his arms and hugged him tight.

"I've really missed you!" The girl said as she pulled back from the hug. Her lips were forming a huge smile which was making her whole face sparkle.

"I missed you too El..." Sirius said and hugged her one more time. Apart from Andromeda who was showing up less often the past weeks he had no one to speak to and that was driving him crazy. "Come in!"

They stepped into the bedroom and locked the door for once more. Not that anyone would want to bother them. Well maybe Perseus would like to join them but apart from him all the others would prefer sitting down and talking about Bella's engagement.

"Don't get me wrong El, but I think that you might need to lose some weight." Sirius said sceptically as he was watching Electra who had sat on his bed and started looking around the walls and all the things that Sirius had stuck on them.

"I'm deeply offended by your words Sirius. I'm coming all the way here trying not to get caught and that's all you have to say?" The girl said taking him by surprise. Of course he was expecting her first comment which was for fun but he could not understand the second. As if she had read his mind she added "It was the only way I could bring you all the Muggle magazines with motorcycles without getting caught." And she lifted her blouse displaying the four magazines around her waist.

The boy smirked and bust into laughter. "Thank you for this. How on earth did you managed to get them?"

"I just said Lily that Pers is really fond of motorcycles and asked her if she could send me any of their magazines. You know that she wouldn't send them to me if she knew that they were for you."
