"I'm beginning to question Dumbledore's sanity."

~~

The five Marauders had just entered the great hall. The smell of chicken and pastries entered their noses making all of them take a deep breath.  Apart from the welcoming smell of food the difference between the outside and the inside of the castle was much needed. They felt the warmth hugging them as soon as they had entered. The ceiling of the hall was still looking as enchanting as the first time they had face it.

All of the students ran to seat on their tables and the Marauders after waiting for McGonagall to arrive they waved and Sirius winked at her. James would swear that he saw her smiling at them but none would believe them. However all of them knew that she loved them deep down and that she was enjoying their pranks sometimes. So they were greeting her in order to let her know that they were back to make the year... well pretty much insufferable.

"El! Remus!" a female voice sounded from the behind. All five of them turned to see who was calling the two of them and faced Lily running and falling into Remus' and Electra's arms.

"Last time I checked I wasn't invincible." Sirius said to Peter and James loud enough for Lily to hear.

"Last time I checked you were still a bully along with your friend Potter." Lily replied "Hello Peter!" She smiled and turned to look at her two friends again who were doing their best not to laugh at Sirius' face. He was totally take by surprise.

"I see you stepped up the game. I'm impressed Evans!" The long haired boy added and winked at her but the redhead only rolled her eyes and continued her discussion with Remus like nothing had happened. Electra would have joined the conversation if it wasn't for the dialogues between her and Sirius and James' face. He was  in the verge of crying, she hadn't even address to him.

After a while they were all seated. McGonagall opened the list of the first year students' names. Electra and Sirius exchanged an anxious glance. They really wanted to hope that the house didn't matter but they knew that they were wrong. The girl raised her head to look at her older brother over at Slytherin's table. He was sharing the exact same thoughts with them.

"Regulus Orion Black" McGonagall said. Sirius was almost sure about his brother's house but he still had hope in him. James and El who were sitting next to him smiled encouragingly.

"SLYTHERIN" the sorting hat announced and Sirius lowered his head for a while.

Many kids followed most of them were sorted into Hufflepuff, three of them in Ravenclow and Gryffindor and two in Slytherin.

"Orpheus Jason Star"

Just like his sister the hat hadn't managed yet to touch his head when it exclaimed "SLYTHERIN!"

Electra didn't clap at her brother's sorting. She just stood there observing him as he was walking with pride to seat next to Regulus. Sirius and Lily grabbed her hands. Lily didn't know what that meant but she understood that her friend wasn't pleased with this. Perseus clapped and tried to high five with his brother who eventually decided to high five with him and then sat next to his friend, but despite this he wasn't pleased either.

"SILENCE!" Dumbledore said like he was doing every year just to capture the students' attention. "So as you may have noticed summer is over. One more year of school has begun. Tomorrow morning their professors will hand you over your schedules. Now for the first year student. I want to welcome you all I feel that when the end of the school year arrives you will not want to leave. For the third year students. Hogsmeade visits will be announced in the beginning of each month starting from tomorrow along with the schedules. This year as you saw you're going to have a few more lessons of which you can choose only two of them to take. Care of Magical Creatures, Divination, Arithmacy, Study of Ancient Runes and Muggle studies." The Marauders looked at eachother trying to figure out which one of them they would choose so they could be together but Dumbledore continued his speech. "Before I move forward to the fifth and seventh years I'd like to say that hopefully, this year we won't have any... troubles." He said looking directly to to the five Marauders

"Bloody Hell! He mentioned us! We have some reputation guys!" James said super excited earning a serious look from McGonagall who was passing in front of their table.

Dumbledore continued his monologue giving particular information about how the exams were going to be held for the fifth and seventh years and then he let the students continue their dinner.

They were heading towards the common room with the perfect leading them. That was something that the Marauders never understood. Why should they be guided even when they were in their third year of Hogwarts' studies. But since they would be more mature this year, okay just for the first day, they decided not to use their secrets passages and follow the flow.

"Password?" The fat lady asked as soon as the perfect whose name was Leia Jordan arrived the portrait.

"Oddsbodikins" the girl said and the portrait moved aside to appear the entrance.

"These passwords are going from weird to weirder." Peter said letting out a deep breath and entering the common room accompanied by the rest of his friends.

"I'm beginning to question Dumbledore's sanity." Sirius agreed with his friend and stormed into the common room trying not to lose his place on the armchair.

They were all seated when Paul Pevensie the seeker and captain of the Gryffindor's team came out of his dormitory yelling at Leia. "I don't believe you! You're in your sixth year! You have nothing to worry about!"

"But Paul I don't want to play anymore!" Electra immediately turned her head towards them. Leia was the only girl in the Gryffindor's quidditch team and she was playing as a chaser. Despite their three years gap the two girls were getting on well. They had met eachother after the first game right after McGonagall had visited the common room to let them know that she had noticed their prank. Leia as soon as she saw Electra among the boys smiled to herself and told her that she had enjoyed their prank. Leia was the only girl in Gryffindor's team and Electra the only girl among the Marauders. Both of them great fans of Harpies. So it came to Electra's disappointment what she had just heard.

"What do you mean you don't want that anymore? Don't you want to be in the team? That means that I have to organise Quidditch trials till I find one as good as you!"

"I'm sorry Paul. I was in that team for a long time... And you know that better than everyone! I sacrificed my weekends, my good grades, my visits to Hogsmeade... I have two more years here. I want to live them as an average student. And I'm not sorry for my decision!" Paul lowered his head and took a deep breath trying not to get mad. He could understand her. He lifted his glance to meet her eyes and smiled to the girl.

"You can come any time you want for practice." He said and tapped her on the shoulder and then turned to everyone who was standing in common room. "In some days we'll have the first Quidditch trial. We need one chaser! Be prepared!"

Leia after messing Paul's her moved towards her dormitory glancing over Electra who waved at her. She stopped in her tracks. "You know what Paul. Your chaser might be closer that you think!" She said winking at the girl who was the centre of attention among Marauders right now.
