The Letters: before the sixth year

Dear Lily, 

I'm glad that you wrote me so soon. Only a week here and I already feel trapped. Pers bought a house and he's about to move there along with Leia. He'll be living close to Andromeda though and that's good since I'll spend lots of time with them there. But still. 

Orph reads the daily prophet every day and hears the radio every day. I don't know what is he thinking. He tries his best not to come across me and that breaks my heart. My family told me that if I wanted to visit Pers I had to never set foot on the house again. 

I understand that you're upset with all the muggles dying. Lily your family will be safe. I swear! And you'll be safe as well. Pers says that we're really close to a war but he says that he's willing to sacrifice his own life in order to protect us and that there are so many more people who'll do the same.

I never thought that i would be writing to you. But Electra told me that a war is about to begin and anyway I feel like I have to say sorry. I've given you to McGonagall so many times last year and got you in detention without any proof that it was you. 

I'm sorry. But that doesn't mean that I have forgiven you for enerything that you've done. Don't even think about it. My feelings for you have remained untouched. I just felt the need to apologize because I don't want something to happen and then know that i've been so cruel to you.

Because James I know that I don't have the same feelings as you have but that doesn't mean that i don't care about you. And that I'm not scared about what is to happen and is happening without us knowing.

you're not going to believe this. Lily wrote me a letter. A whole letter. 147 words! Anyway that's not the problem. The last attack was near your house isn't that right? How are you? How's your mother doing? If you want to come here spend the rest of the summer you can come! My mother would be more than happy to have you.

Electra is going to visit Pers on his new house. She says that her younger brother has been acting weird since we returned from Hogwarts. And I don't know what is happening with Sirius. He hasn't been answering my letters for a week now. His last letter was sent on June 15th and now it June  23rd. I'm really worried about him.

You will come in August here right? Please tell me that you'll come! We've been organising this for such a long time. It would be a shame not to come...

We're really concerned about you and your well being. You haven't been answering any of our letters for a long time now and I don't even know if you're at least reading them.

It's a tough time for everyone. We know what you're going through and we're here for you. Please if you're reading the letters at least reply to someone. We're genuinely worried. We haven't heard from you for such a long time.

I don't know if you're getting this letter or someone else's reading it but of you do I want you to know that we'll always be by your side and we'll always be the family you choose the five years ago.

Please don't let anyone know about this letter. Burn it afterwards or destroy it somehow. I need your help I really need your help and I have no one to turn to. You said that you'd help me however you could if I ever needed anything. And I'm asking you this.

How can I make the wounds go away? And how can I stop feel the pain everytime I have to move. Please don't let anyone else know about it. Especially not Electra and James. They'll tear the world apart to get to contact me.

Remus in your letter pretend to be some Slytherin girl. These are the only letters that I've been given along with El's and not all of them. They've been checking my mail ever since I got here.

I have news from Sirius. He would want me to say that he's in good health and good physical condition but he's not. He doesn't want you to have to think about him too. He knows what's going on in your house.

In your next letter pretend that you know nothing about it but I feel like it's about time to do what he has always been thinking about. You know what I mean.

Your days must have been passing terrible. Don't you dare reply to be not worse than Sirius' you're going to make a great choice too. Whatever you choose we'll always be by your side. You're going to visit him though, right? Tell me about your visit in your next letter.

I understand that the holidays haven't turned out to be free spirited as I child should spend them. However there's nothing I can do about it. You know very well that the wizarding world is under threat and only pure-blood wizards are going to survive for sure.

I want you to be safe and that's the only reason I'm living you with your family. Also think of your younger brother. He wants to have someone by his side.
