"Oh that's the last thing I've called myself, mother."

~~

July 9th,1976

Sirius' eyes opened abruptly and his breath started coming out trembling. He was on his bed under the seats feeling the pain washing all over his body and terror flooding his soul. He wandered his glance all over his room and eventually landed on the side table. There were three letters on it. Three of how many? They must have been a lot more than those three.

The boy tried to turn on the side so he could reach the letters but a sharp pain stroke him making him fall back on his bed trying to hold back a scream. With slow and light moves he brought his hand down on the bandage that was covering his waist. If only he could use the magic poppy used on Remus after every full moon. He was finally understanding how his friend was feeling after every transformation and he just wished to have his friends on his side as well. But that wouldn't be possible. James hadn't head from him in ages, Peter too. Remus was on the other side of the country and he had only received one letter with advice. He was sure that he had written more than just one but after Walburga seeing him trying to cure his wounds he immediately understood and stopped giving him his letters. Apart from the ones she was sure that were not filled with dangerous for her family's beliefs ideas. Electra was writing to him always asking him how he was. She didn't know anything according to him. And after the last letter he send he didn't know why she was still contacting him.

He brought his palm and covered him mouth so his scream wouldn't be heard when he would stand up. As he was moving towards the bed's edge he closed tightly his eyes and his face filled with pain but not a single sound escaped his mouth. He took some steps forward and stopped in front of the window. He opened the curtains letting the sunlight enter the room. He looked at the sky. Cloudy. He was already in terrible mood and this weather was just making it worse.

Suddenly an owl appeared on his window making him took some steps back taken by surprise. James'. With difficulty he tried to raise the window glass to let the owl enter but he only managed to raise it only a little bit. Just enough to manage take the letter.

Pads,

I know. Electra told me. She knows too. You don't have to write back. But I'm here and my home is always open for you. If you decide to do it, you'll come here. I want you to come here! You don't owe me anything and you're not going to be a problem. Come! I'll wait for you.

Your very concerned deer,
Prongs

They knew... They knew and they wanted to help. Remus had informed them all. He didn't know if he should be glad about it. He didn't know if he wanted his friends to be concerned about him or not. He didn't want them to worry about him. But on the other hand he couldn't handle it all by himself. Andromeda wasn't allowed to visit the house. Regulus wasn't allowed to enter his room or come in contact with him. His father couldn't care less. His mother was the one causing him all the pain. And then it was Kreatcher. Oh that disgusting elf... He thought that he had power over him and he was taking advantage of that. Always by his mistress' side. Always there to bring her her wand, to pick it up when she dropped it due to his defending spells. Always happy to see him getting tortured. And always there to whisper in Regulus' ears dreadful things about him. Things like "He turned against your mother... He was about to torture her. That's why she's doing that." And this was the worst thing of them all. They were turning his own brother against him.

"Accio" the boy thought and he grabbed the quill that was flying towards him. No magic outside Hogwarts. Yes... Sure... He thought. Like he was going to make it alive from this house. And besides he had casted so many spells trying to defend himself from the curses Walburga was torturing him with. He reopened the letter and under his friend's signature he put his.
