"Let's make these people jealous!"

December 21st, 1975

"Pertner up!" McGonagall said as she made sure that all of her students had entered the hall. "We won't be moving forward to turning a goldfinch into a golden snitch but some of you already know the spell." She continued saying and gave a knowing look to the Marauders who smiled at the ground and then looked at her. "As you may know in a week from now we'll have the winter ball in here. And I want all of you not to humiliate me and letting others believe that the Gryffindors cannot dance."

"I have a bad feeling about this..." Sirius whispered to Remus who smirked at his friend and shook his head knowing what they were about to witness.

"Mr. Black come here!" McGonagall said taking Sirius by surprise and Remus hit him on the shoulder whispering lucky you to his friend.

Sirius stood on his place without moving "I'm afraid I can't Minnie..."

"This was not a request Mr.Black, it was an order!" Electra rested her back on the wall next to Remus and waited to see were all this was going to end up.

"No, I really can't professor! I've promised Dumbledore to take him to the Ball. I can't dance with you and give you false hopes..." Sirius said without even smirking which was something he was doing a lot.

Electra shook her head and laughed at what he had just said along with Remus who was about to turn red from what he had thought of replying. If he wasn't Sirius they would have thought that he was planning it for weeks but he could come up with things like that in fractions of a second. McGonagall looked at the boy without even blinking and didn't even bother yelling at him. "Well that's understandable." She turned to James who was sitting next to Peter and were secretely ranking the girls in the room.

"Mr. Potter, miss Evans is already taken, along with Dumbledore and Mr. Black. Do you want to make them jealous?"

James stood up from his place and with a jump he was standing next to McGonagall with a huge smile on his face. "Even if they weren't, you always come first Minnie" he said and winked at the woman as he was bowing in front of her "Let's make these people jealous!"

McGonagall smiled at the boy but only for him to see it and tapped him on the shoulder. Remus tapped Mary who was sitting in front of him on the shoulder asking for her to accompany him. The girl shook her head and took his hand. Peter caught Electra from her wrist practically begging not to leave him alone because he didn't have the courage to ask someone else. The girl smiled and took his hand right when Sirius touched her on the shoulder in order to ask her to accompany him. "I'm sorry..." She said feeling terribly for having said no to him. Not because of him having to find someone else to dance with but because she had just lost her chance to dance with him even for an hour.

"Black! I never thought that I was going to say that but, would you mind dancing with me?" Lily said making Electra turn her head all of a sudden with surprise on her face.

"Ah, you just hit me with your hair!" Peter said and laughed Electra turned to look at her friend and smiled apologetically. Lily had heard it, and there was no way she would get out of it.

Sirius looked down at Lily surprised "Evans, sorry if you feel like that for me but firstly, my best friend is in live with you ever since the first year. And secondly you're not my type."

"He prefers blondes..." Electra said to Lily as she was passing next to her  her way to the dance floor. Sirius nodded and the redhead rolled her eyes after glancing at Electra.

"Black, I don't like you! But I don't want to dance with any other person on this room." Sirius nodded and raised his hand for her to take it. Electra lowered her head. Why was she like that, Lily was her best friend she didn't have feelings for Sirius she shouldn't be jealous. But she was. Because no matter how hard she was trying to deny it. She really liked him.
