Ch 29: Finding Love

Time skip to after I-Island. Its been a few weeks of just regular school.

Y/n POV

I was sitting up on the rooftop with the gang, drawing in one of my sketch books. Katsuki was next to me and Mina, Kirishima, Kaminari, and Sero were across from us.

The past weeks have been pretty hectic for me. Uncle had me at his office a lot and my business just got a partnership and we've been designing and sewing like crazy. I feel like I've been neglecting Katsuki, though he would never admit to missing me.

The lunch bell rang and I sighed. I put away all my things and was about to walk away with the others, when Katsuki pulled me back. His face wasn't angry, but it was straight so I knew it was gonna be serious.

"I know you're busy but you're still gonna go out with me Saturday night right?" His lips were in a little pout and that was the only thing showing his emotion. I felt so bad. I placed my hand on the side of his face and he leaned into my touch.

"I promise, no matter what, I'll be there. I love you Katsuki," I said with a smile. His cheeks turned red and he looked to the side clicking his tongue.

"I love you too dumbass. Don't overwork yourself, you're a pain when you're stressed," he said, scrambling to collect his pride. I laughed and nodded and we went back down to class.

Saturday 

I was in my room getting ready for my date tonight. I had an outfit planned with the help of Mina and we were going to a fancy restaurant that Katsuki had picked out. I was very exited until my Uncle called me. I groaned loudly before picking up the phone.

"Y/n I'm outside lets go."

"Wait what why?"

"You need to read over these studies we just found. Hurry up I don't have all day."

"I don't have any day. I'm supposed to be going on a date tonight."

"You can go afterwards. Come downstairs, young lady." He hung up on me and I groaned even louder. My door opened and Katsuki came in asking what was wrong. I hugged him which surprised him but he put one arm around me, asking again what was wrong.

"I'm not bailing out on our date, I promise, but I have to go with my Uncle first. I'll meet you at the restaurant dressed and ready for a lovely night. I'm so sorry," I said bowing. He pulled me up and kissed my forehead.

"Its fine dumbass. Do what you have to do and I'll meet you at the restaurant." I hugged him again and he gave me a squeeze that made me feel infinitely safe.

I put the outfit that I was going to wear in a bag with shoes and other stuff to get ready and let Katsuki walk me out. I got in the back of my Uncle's car and waved to him as we drove off. He waved with a small and soft smile. I love that smile.

Once I was in Uncle's office, I was left alone to do my work. The "discoveries" weren't all that impressive or interesting to me, but that was probably because I was thinking about going with Katsuki. Soon I was no longer thoroughly reading, but skimming.

When I had finished the pile of things I had to look over, I ran to the nearest executive bathroom to go change. I texted Katsuki telling him I was about to leave the office.

I was technically late already and I felt really bad. Sebastian texted me and said he could drive me, for which I was grateful. After I looked more than presentable, I went downstairs to the parking lot and found Sebastian.

"Did I ever mention how awesome you are?" I told him as I got in the car.

"You could stand to mention it more. But its no problem. I wouldn't want you running and messing up that pretty dress of yours. Plus I totally ship you with Bakugou so I'd do anything for the two of you." I smiled at him through the rear view mirror.
