Y/n POV (8 months : 32 weeks pregnant)

I was driving to pick the kids up from school. It was getting close to Christmas and the town reflected that. Of course the consumeristic part was present in all the shops and on all the billboards, but the spirit was alive in the snowy atmosphere and the joy that people had.

I arrived at the school and walked inside, looking for the two kids that were mine. Instead, I found the kids that weren't mine, but I still loved them.

"Hi Mrs. Bakugou!" A little voice said and I looked down and it was Hiromi. She had paint on her hands which probably meant my children were also covered in paint.

She gestured for me to follow her and sure enough, Nyoko, Kitaro, and Toyokazu were sitting around a table finger painting. Kitaro noticed me and scrambled to show me his painting.

"Look. There's me and KoKo and Daddy and you!" He said pointing to each person. The detail was impressive for a 5 year old, but then again, Kita's drawings were always impressive.

"And I drew the same thing, but with snow, cuz Kita doesn't like snow," Nyoko said rolling her eyes. Kitaro blew a raspberry and I reprimanded both of them for being rude to each other.

"We also all made Christmas ornaments," Hiromi said cheerily, prompting the rest of the kids to show off their ornaments. Each of them made their own personal one and then they made a group one for their class Christmas tree.

"Auntie y/n, Daddy wants to know if Mango is gonna come before Christmas so he knows if he should buy a gift for them," Toyokazu said quietly. I shook my head.

"Tell your daddy not to worry about it. Mango will be happy just getting to see everyone after Christmas," I said warmly, patting my bulging belly.

I managed to get the kids to stop painting and clean up so I could get them home. One story filled drive later and we were home.

"Ok guys go change and then we can have a snack and decorate the Christmas tree," I said laying on the excitement. Both children cheered and then ran upstairs.

I checked the pantry for something I thought the children would like. In the end I decided on store bought karepan (curry buns) for Nyoko, kurimpan (buns with custard) for Kitaro, and melonpan (melon bread) for me.

The kids ran back downstairs and into the kitchen, hopping up on the chairs for the island waiting for their snacks. I gave them their snacks and they eat them so quickly, I had to remind them to breathe in between bites.

"Alright we finished. Can we decorate the tree now?" Nyoko asked already jumping out of her seat. Her brother was a step behind her and I followed laughing. I got the Christmas decorations from the hallway closet and set the two boxes down.

"Alright, you guys know the drill. Make the Christmas tree extravagant but don't try and reach high places without mommy's help. Ready—" I didn't even get to say go before they dug into the boxes and started throwing things on the tree.

Although it was pretty hectic, Nyoko's design sense and Kitaro's artistic sense came through and formed a rather beautiful tree. Every year it was more or less the same, but every year I loved it.
