Ch 44: Additions

Two months after the Honeymoon.....

Y/n POV

"Y/n just do it. What's the worst that could happen?" Mina said as we walked through the pharmacy. I had a strange feeling in my stomach, besides the nausea, that was a mix of fear and excitement.

"What if it's positive and he doesn't want one?" I had been bothering her with my most likely irrational fears since our lunch break started. It was weird for me too because I wasn't one to have such fears like this or to share them with someone else. Mina put her hand on my shoulder.

"Girl look. One of two things is going to happen. It's negative in which case we'll take you to a doctor to see why you've been sick. Or it's positive and you and Bakugou are going to have a wonderful little baby, which he is going to love just as much as he loves you." Her words were reassuring so I felt slightly bettter.

We bought the test, a few just for confirmation, and went back to the office in my new Mercedes. Thankfully me and Mina were able to sneak onto one of the less used floors and use the bathroom there. 

I took both tests while Mina sat on the sink waiting for me. It was only a few minutes of waiting but it felt like forever. Finally the results came in. I held up the several tests to Mina with a nervous smile.

"So...I'm pregnant..." I said. She stared at me for a minute before shrieking and hugging me, jumping up and down. I shared her excitement, I did want kids, but I was still worried about what Katsuki would think.

"Chile if he doesn't raise this child with love, acceptance, and money, I will not hesitate to make you a sexy divorcée, or even a sexy widow," she said with a wink. It made me feel a lot better knowing she had my back like that. 

I put the tests in a gift bag, Mina's idea, and went back upstairs ready to tell Katsuki. Well not actually ready, I just didn't want to put it off too much. I opened the door and noticed he was deeply immersed in a stack of case files. I passed Chikanari on the way up and she was swamped with the paperwork of the other heroes. We really need another secretary. 

"Hey Katsuki, can I talk to you for a quick minute?" I mentally kicked myself for how soft my voice sounded. He gave me a small grunt which meant he was listening but still focused on his papers. I stood over his desk and took a deep breath.

"Well so I'm—" I was cut off by the sound of the alarm. Chikanari ran in.

"Mr. Dynamite, Mrs. Avater. There's a group of villains attacking a residence in Chiyoda!" Katsuki stood up quickly stopping to kiss my cheek.

"Be right back babe, we'll talk when I get back," he said already walking out the door.

"Wait I'll go with you—" I was cut off by Kirishima running in the room.

"Nope y/n there's a pyrotechnic villain setting things on fire in Edogawa, you're coming with me," he said grabbing my arm and waving at Katsuki as he dragged me out. 

"Hey Shitty Hair you better not do anything funny with my wife!"

"Wouldn't dream of it Bakubro!"

Kirishima and I made it to Edogawa, and it was as he said. There was a guy spouting lava from his mouth and people were running scared. I turned to see an incoming fire truck.

"Hey I'm going to try and put out these fires and help the civilians, can you handle magma mouth over there?" Kirishima nodded and turned his hardening on.

"Hey ugly!" He shouted and got to work. I ran over to the fire truck and gave the fire fighters some modified instructions. They turned on one hose and pointed it at the building and I diverted some water from another hose to the other things that were on fire.
