I woke up and nudged Katsuki. He groaned and pulled his pillow over his head. I laughed and kissed his cheek.
"Katsuki Bakugou. Your only son and daughter are celebrating their first year of life and you won't even wake up so we can party with them?" He glared at me from under the pillow then sighed and got up.
"Fine TeddyBear. Let's party like it's 1999," he said sarcastically, throwing me a smirk as he walked to the twins' room. I got up and followed him.
We entered the room and Nyoko had somehow climbed into Kitaro's crib and they were sitting facing each other having what seemed to be a very in depth sign conversation. They weren't actually signing anything I knew but hey, maybe they made up their own twin language.
"Mama, Dadda!" Nyoko said when she noticed us come in. She bounced by the edge of her crib which made me realize how easy it was for her climb in and out of it. Kita stood up and waved hello. Katsuki got to them first and picked up KoKo.
"You ready for your birthday today, Spicy Mochi?" She cheered and Kita did the same. I picked him up and he signed for food so I went to feed him while Katsuki got KoKo bathed and dressed. I went downstairs, put Kita in his high chair, and held up strawberry banana puffs and strawberry banana purée.
"Do you want this one or this one?" I said shaking each item to draw his attention to it. He made grabby hands at the puffs so I poured some on his plate and let him go ham. I checked my phone and noticed that Mina texted me saying she would be over soon so she could help us set up. I texted her back with a thumbs up.
"Mama!" The sound of little feet came running into the kitchen and my beautiful baby girl stood in her birthday outfit.

Kita looked down at her and smiled, putting his hand on his chest and then pulling at away with his middle and thumb finger touching.
"Kita likes your outfit, KoKo. You look so pretty," I said, giving her a hug. I noticed that her h/c and blonde hair was in two puffs in a vertical line on her head, her bow placed securely on the front puff, and her edges were even laid. I looked up at Katsuki in surprise. He clicked his tongue and his cheeks turned red a bit.
"She has your hair so I already know how to do it. She's also as tender headed as you so thanks for passing that along," he said walking past me to steal one of Kita's puffs. Kita pouted and did the little sign for hurt and I had to stifle a laugh.
I finished feeding Kita and left with him to get him dressed. He very much liked his outfit and I almost cried from how cute he looked.
