Katsuki POV
It was a normal school day, except it wasn't. I was going to give y/n a gift but I couldn't figure out how to do it. Would she even like it?
My squad of idiots plus my girlfriend were sitting with me as we ate lunch. I was eating and thinking so I didn't think anyone would notice I was thinking very hard.
"Hey Bakubro, what's wrong man?" Kirishima said to the side of me. Y/n looked to me concerned and I immediately felt bad for making her worry. I put my hand on her thigh under the table and she smiled.
"Shut up ShittyHair, I'm just thinking. You should try it some time," I said. Y/n pinched my side and I growled at her. Kirishima insisted he wasn't offended which he shouldn't be, I could've said worse.
Lunch continued after that and soon it was time to go back to class. Aizawa was giving a lecture and like hell if I was paying attention. I just happened to be looking forward because I was staring at the back of y/n's head, trying to envision all the reactions she could have to the gift I have for her.
"Bakugou, would you like to tell me what you would do in this situation," Mr. Aizawa said. No the fuck I would not Becky. I stood up and answered, trying to hide the annoyance in my voice.
"You'd have to give that person first aid quickly before transporting them to a safe location. Then once you pass them off to the correct official, you can return to the disaster zone." Thankfully I was good at bullshitting and multitasking. Aizawa nodded that I got the answer right so I could sit down and go back to thinking.
The last period of the day was spent at the USJ. We were once again doing rescue training and we got split up into groups. I was with Y/n and the frog girl. I'm bouta get bullied.
"Ok guys lets go *kero*," Frog girl said. Y/n nodded and I grumbled because who is she to tell me what to do? We entered the hurricane zone and had to grab a boat from the safe space and be transported above the water level. I mentally kicked Aizawa for assigning me here. Y/n bent the water above us into a shield so we wouldn't get wet as we sailed through looking for the actors that had been scattered around the USJ.
"There!" Y/n pointed to a building and there was a family on top. The frog swam towards the building and climbed the rest of the way up the wall. Y/n was about to take the wheel but I put a hand out.
"Lemme drive the boat." She smirked at me and I steered towards the building. Y/n manipulated the water around us so that we were lifted up to the top of the building. She and FrogGirl helped the family in, giving them jackets. They weren't getting wet anymore because y/n was bending the water above us still.
We moved through the area and grabbed as many families as we could find. Finally it was time to go back to the safe area. That's when the wind picked up and the waves became more unsteady. One of the actors fell on me and I had to steady them so they wouldn't fall out of the boat. Y/n stood up.
"Froppy, swim behind the boat and push it. Dynamite, keep steering so we don't go off course. I'll combat the wind and waves so we don't get even more wet." We both shouted affirmatives at her and I realized how clever she was. She avoided using foreboding language to keep from scaring the civilians. My y/n is the best.
Y/n stood at the back of the boat and I could feel in the wheel that the frog was pushing with all her might. Damn she kinda strong. Y/n lifted her arms and blasted air in the opposite direction we were going.
That gave us a speed boost and it pushed back the incoming waves. She moved her hands in a flowing motion, diverting the waves in the boat's path around the perimeter and to the back. She looked hypnotic and the civilians were actually oo-ing and aw-ing at her performance.
