Ch 46: Pop

Y/n POV

32 weeks pregnant (8 months) 8 weeks until due date

Today, a few of us had interns from UA. This year's sports festival was as interesting if not more than ours and the candidates were promising. 

I had recruited a girl named Isayama Kome, and her quirk was a stealth quirk that would pair well with me and Miki. Her quirk was Invisi-share, she could make anyone she touches invisible but can only make herself invisible when she touches someone else. The girl and the other interns from UA arrived. 

"Hey guys and welcome LORRE! As you can see this is a pretty big and busy agency but don't worry, you'll get the hang of it super quickly," I said offering them a reassuring smile. They all seemed pretty confident.

Katsuki was not happy that I hadn't taken maternity leave yet but it wasn't like I wasn't useful. Which would be proven today. 

"So this the surveillance room where we monitor— shit's going down." I said that last part under my breath but shit was indeed going down. There was a distress call from a major bank that was being robbed. Apparently hostages had been taken and the villain was threatening slaughter in a time frame. I tapped my ear piece.

"Dynamite and Cellophane, we are going on a mission." Katsuki screamed about me taking it easy and sitting this one out. I groaned and calmly yelled back. "Dynamite we don't have time for this. Meet me downstairs." I turned to my intern and Miki. "Ladies let's roll out."

One angry Katsuki car ride later and we were at the scene. Deku and Shoto were there trying to handle the crowd and negotiate with the villains inside. Shoto looked at me skeptical.

"What are you doing out here?" He said, his eyes dropping to the bump that was hidden under a cape. I rolled my eyes as Katsuki clicked his tongue.

"That's what I said," he growled out. I ignored them both as I looked around and came up with a plan.

"Hey Isayama. Go with Shoto and sneak behind that building and he can cut a small hole in that widow. Meanwhile I'll be on top of that building and I'll fire Air Bullets to knock as many of them as I can. Once I make contact, Deku and Dynamite can rush in get the hostages. Cellophane can capture any that escape and I'll provide cover fire. Make sense?"

"Yes ma'am!" Everyone said and we got to work. Wow I'm surprised they all went along with that. Miki and I climbed to the roof of an adjacent building, and she used her quirk, Sniper, to line up my arm so I knew where to aim.

We watched Shoto and Isayama turn invisible and then they made their way over to the building. They gave me the go ahead through our ear pieces and I took a deep breath. I fired an air spiral that condensed the flames coming out of my hand and held control of it until it hit the first villain and set off a small explosion, not big enough to hurt any of the hostages but enough to make him stumble away from them.

"Go!" I said into the ear piece and continued to target the other villains. Miki's quirk made it really easy to pinpoint them and not hit any of our guys. One of the robbers slipped out the front door and I fired a shot at his feet, keeping him in place long enough for Cellophane to tape trap him. I smirked and turned to Miki.

"Wasn't this fun?" She nodded enthusiastically.

"Every day at LORRE is fun."

We spent a few more hours subduing all the villains and checking on all of the civilians. Nobody had gotten physically hurt, so we just had to handle a few emotionally shaken up people. Isayama was having a blast and I was happy her internship got to be so much fun. We were about to leave the scene when the media showed up.
