Ch 32: Normalcy

Y/n POV

I woke up the next morning and I was by myself in the room. I looked over to my nightstand and noticed a box there with a note. 

Hey y/n I bought you a new phone since your old one was stolen. There's a case and screen protector too. I'll be back a little later to see you.

I smiled at the note and set up my phone, putting the case and screen protector on it. I restored all my contacts and I decided to text Katsuki. He's probably in class, but he'll see it at lunch or something.

I hit send and relaxed in the bed. The nurse came in to check on me and bring me breakfast. I thanked her and ate the hospital food that surprisingly wasn't horrible. Sebastian came back a little while after that.

"Hey kid, how you doing?" He was all smiles and he had brought donuts. I smiled brightly at the prospect of sweets and took a gorgeous looking glazed one. 

"I'm doing fine I'm just bored. Mina sent me the school work from yesterday but that's not enough to fill my day," I said and then I bit into the donut, letting out a happy noise. He chuckled and shrugged.

"Well get on that and I'll help you occupy the day," he said. I nodded and excused myself to go change before getting started.

I took the bag of clothes Katsuki had brought me and chose one of his t-shirts that fit oversized on me and a pair of sweatpants. I had to have short sleeves because the IV was still in my arm.

My hands cramped from lack of movement and of course the burns as I got dressed. I just ignored it because it was going to get better after I stretched them a bit.

I came back into the room and sat on the bed. I started to do the school work and Sebastian sat by the window doing work of his own. After an hour I finally decided to ask.

"Are you going to be ok?" I asked him. He looked up at me with a confused expression. "Well because you were on Uncle's payroll. I can use Queen's designs to pay you but it won't be as much as he paid you." He looked to be in thought before smiling.

"That'd be great but I think the time has come for me to stop mooching off your family y/n. I'll be fine don't worry." I shook my head.

"Sebastian quit it. You are family. And besides its not mooching if you actually worked for that money. So never mind your opinion I'm gonna take care of you." My face was determined and he realized he might as well go with it. He smiled and nodded.

I finished my school work and spent the afternoon playing on my phone. Katsuki had texted me back during lunch and I thanked him for the clothes, which he now understood he was not getting back. I watched movies, played cards, and listened to music. 

Finally around 4pm, I was tired of sitting around so I got up and started stretching. Sebastian kept looking at me like he wanted to tell me to sit down so I reassured him I was fine. I was half way through my third round of modified sun salutations when there was a knock on the door.

"Ms. L/n. I see you're feeling a lot better," the doctor said with a smile. I straightened up and exhaled.

"Yes I am. I was just stretching out," I said with a smile. He nodded and flipped through the papers on his clipboard. He looked back up at me and smiled.

"Since you seem to be doing much better and all your vitals have being stable for the benchmark amount of time, we've decided that we can let you go this evening. Mr. Sebastian please follow me to fill out the appropriate paper work." My face lit up as Sebastian's did the same and he followed the doctor out.
