Y/n POV
"I know baby no need to cry..." I was rocking Kitaro back in forth in the hospital room. Even though you couldn't hear him, his face was scrunched and tears were coming out of his eyes so I knew he was upset.
The doctors had told us that for some reason, he's vocal cords didn't develop fully so he can't really produce sounds. They told me he was going to be fine and shouldn't have trouble learning, but that he just might not speak for a few years.
I kissed his forehead and his face relaxed. You're still my perfect happy boy. I didn't actually sleep much, but I let Katsuki sleep cuz I knew he was tired too. Nyoko was out like a light and a nurse had to force me not to stare at her the whole time because I was low key (or maybe high key) scared that she wasn't just sleeping.
Soon the sun started to rise which meant Katsuki woke up too. He sat up and pat my side of the bed where I was no longer and then looked around frantically until he saw me sitting on the couch feeding Nyoko. He got up and looked at Kitaro who was sleeping in his bed, and then sat next to me, wrapping his arm gently around my shoulder.
"You doing alright?" He asked me. I nodded and when Koko finished I put her back down. I turned back to Katsuki and sighed.
"I'm just kind of worried about Kita. He's a baby and he can't communicate to begin with, how are we gonna know something is wrong?" Katsuki got up and pulled me into his chest, kissing the top of my head.
"We'll figure something out. We always do." I nodded and relaxed a bit at his touch. We relaxed in the bed and he brought me food since I could finally eat. Later, Dr. Miwatari came in with a bag.
"I found the perfect thing for you," she said coming over to us all excited. The bag was a gift bag and I was curious to see what it was. She opened it up and inside were 4 bracelets. They were techy but still stylish and two of them were labeled Spicy and Sweet. I smiled.
"Thank you so much but what are the for?" She brought out the two labeled for the twins and showed them to me and Katsuki.
"So you're probably worried about how you're going to know if your baby is hungry or wet if you can't hear him crying. Well this neat little thing will monitor his heart rate and muscle contractions and send you a little ping on yours telling you he's crying. You can set it to vibrate or sound or whatever you want and as long as you have that, you'll always know what he needs. And I threw in an extra one so Nyoko-chan doesn't feel left out." I laughed at the thought of a baby understanding fair and unfair.
We put the bracelets on the kids, making sure they were secure but not to tight. Sure enough, on ours came a detailed summary of our kids. There was a little sleepy emoji on the top, signifying they were asleep. I let out a soft laugh.
"Dr. Miwatari you are literally the best. Thank you so much," I said with a genuine smile. Katsuki also thanked her and she waved off our gratitude.
"No problem. Now that you have that, you have no reason not to sleep. You need to rest," she said already pushing me back onto the bed. I let her because I was really tired. Katsuki pulled the blankets up over me and then left with Dr. Miwatari, and I got some much needed sleep.
Katsuki POV
Miwatari walked with me out of the room to talk to me.
"So is she really gonna be ok?" I asked. I hated that I was doubting y/n but I was still really worried. The doctor nodded.
"She's going to be fine she just needs sleep. The babies are good too and after a few more hours of vital monitoring you can all go home. So if you'd like you can go change them into their going home clothes." I hesitated and she noticed.
