Ch 13: And We're Back

Y/n POV

Internships were finally finished. After Hosu, i kept shadowing RockLock. We ended up busting some gang meetings, catching bank robbers and purse snatchers, and other small stuff like that.

Towards the end of the internship, Katsuki dropped the tough guy act and just flat out told me he was worried. It was refreshing actually.

School goes on as normal. I entered the classroom and i was the first one there. I hadn't been sleeping since Hosu, so i just decided to go to school early. I sat at my desk and put my head down. I was hoping Recovery Girl could heal whatever is up with my head, but i guess I'm spicy concussion girl for at least a few months. I sighed and tried to relax.

Then as people started to come in and fill the room with noise i got a headache. One especially loud noise was Kirishima and Sero laughing at Katsuki's hair. Ha it poofed back up. When the two boys stopped teasing him, Katsuki came over to my desk.

"Oi what the hell's wrong with you?" Oh baby, i love you but you too damn loud. I turned my head to the side without sitting up. I tapped my forehead and chuckled nervously.

"Hey Katsuki. Turns out Recovery Girl cant heal concussions, so I'm still a little sensitive." He's face softened a bit and his mouth formed a little 'o' shape. He looked around the room suspiciously before leaning down to kiss my forehead. He then rushed back to his seat and i turned around to face him.

"Feel better y/n...and if you tell anybody i did that here I'll fucking kill you." I smiled at him before i heard the snickers. I turned around and there was Mina, Kirishima, Kaminari, and Sero.

Mina had her phone out and i already knew what she did. Katsuki growled behind me and i laughed. I looked at Mina with a serious blank stare. It was intimidating enough that she cracked.

"But you two are just so cute!!" She squealed and i couldn't help but laugh a little. I managed to keep Katsuki from killing the three boys. Kirishima commented on how manly he was for his performance.

When Shoto got to class, i made sure to check  on him. I wish i could've seen the look on Endeavor's face when he found out Shoto and I defeated Stain. Everyone was talking about their internships and whether they were interesting or not. Kaminari mentioned how Endeavor saved us from Stain, and Shoto had to keep me from saying something. 

"Yea he saved us," Shoto said in a monotone voice. Kaminari mentioned Stain's ideology and all the people who have seen the video of him. I agree with the premise, he just carried it out REALLY  wrong.  

The bell rang for class to begin and we all took our seats. I winced in pain then groaned. Every loud noise is gonna bother me now? It didnt help that our first class was Basic Hero Training with All Might.

We changed into our hero costumes and went out to the training ground. It was an urban industrial area called Field Gamma. We were going to race to All Might through the labyrinth of factories.

He asked us to keep the collateral to a minimum and not so subtly pointed at Katsuki. He grumbled and i grabbed his hand and squeezed. He had to let out another growl before calming down.

The first group went to their starting positions and Kirishima started placing bets on winners. He turned to me for my recommendation. I whispered to him because i didnt want Katsuki to hear.

"Midoriya has stepped up his game in the last week. My money's on him." Kirishima looked at me like i was crazy. I shrugged when Katsuki sat next to me.

"I know Deku will be last." Oof. The race started and we all watched with rapt attention. Sero and Ashido were moving fast but Midoriya sped up. He was jumping and moving like a certain bomb boy we all know and love.
