Y/n POV
"Mr. And Mrs. Bakugou, there's a man on the line from the Hero Public Safety Commission," one of our secretaries said. I quirked an eyebrow at Katsuki and he shrugged.
"Thank you we'll answer it," I said with a smile and the man ducked out. Katsuki came over to my desk as I pressed the button on the phone, bringing the line through.
"The Heroes Avatar, Pinky, and Great Explosion Murder God Dynamite have been chosen for a international mission involving the capture of a Japanese Yakuza group and an American gang. Please report to the Hero Public Safety Commission's office for a debriefing."
The man hung up then, leaving a very confused Katsuki and I staring at the phone. Finally he turned and grabbed his phone and mask.
"Well let's go. International mission with gangs sounds like something I don't want to miss," he said smirking. I giggled and followed him out. We stopped by Mina's office to grab her. She was as confused as I was but as excited as Katsuki was.
We drove to the Commission's office and followed the instructions of the receptionist to the upstairs meeting room. When we entered, we realized we weren't the only people chosen.
"Avatar, what are you guys doing here?" Shoto asked me. I shrugged. I waved to Shinso who apparently was also part of this mission.
"My guess is as good as yours." The door burst open and a man in his late 40s with an over the top aura appeared.
"You're all here to help me take down bad guys!" He reminded me a lot of All Might just more...hip? Katsuki grumbled to the side of me, he doesn't like loud people. Ironic isn't it?
"So what are we supposed to do?" Shinso asked. Mina added a "yeah" for emphasis. The man smiled.
"I am the hero Jack. My quirk is axe so basically I can turn my hands and arms into two axes and cut through most things." He demonstrated by shifting his arms into axes and then reverting them back.
"I'm the only hero for the city of Las Vegas in Nevada, USA, and I need your help. The city's gangs have been getting pretty bold and the biggest one, the Diamondbacks, have partnered with Hebi-Tsukai, a Japanese yakuza group. They're planning a meetup in Vegas for a weapons, drugs and money exchange and we need your help shutting it down."
"If you know their planning things why don't you stop it? You not strong enough?" Katsuki said rather disrespectfully. I smacked his arm and he glared at me so I glared back. Jack laughed it off.
"To be honest, I'm not strong enough. Plus the information that they're meeting is all I have. I don't know where or how many people. That's why I asked for the best heroes of Japan to help. And then they sent me you guys."
We all looked between each other, silently thinking about what we would do. I looked to Katsuki and conveyed that we would have to leave the kids for a while. He weighed the options in his head and then nodded at me. The others and I all nodded at each other.
"We'll help you," I said with a smile and Jack sighed in relief.
"Perfect. I'm sorry for the rush but we need to leave tonight. Pack your bags kids, we're going to Sin City!" He raised his fist in the air and we all laughed at his enthusiasm that reminded us of All Might.
Katsuki, Mina, and I drove back to LORRE and we called a board meeting with those of us who were in the office to tell them the news. Jiro and Kirishima were out so we just had Kaminari and Sero.
"What you guys get to go to Vegas? No fair," Kaminari whined making Katsuki growl at him.
"It's not for fun. It's a mission," he said. I pat his back and then Sero gasped.
