Narrator POV
Y/n L/n was 7 years old. She had gotten her quirk at age 3 1/2. She indeed was an early bloomer and she was incredibly talented for her age.
It was a summer day she'd never forget. The air was warm and the sun was beginning to set. The world was bathed in the colors of red and orange. Y/n was walking home with her father's friend, Sebastian, who was her family's butler. She had that type of carefree attitude that young children usually had. As she and Sebastian turned the corner and her house came into view, they both froze. The door was hanging off by its hinges and cobblestone pathway in the front yard had been seriously torn up.
Y/n ran up the stairs, a dread she didn't understand filling her. Sebastian was a step behind her. When y/n passed through the threshold the sight that she witnessed would be ingrained in her mind forever.
The entire room was red. Some of it was blood, other parts were...flower petals? Y/n stood looking around the room in confusion. Sebastian tried to lead her away or cover her eyes, but she refused. Something caught her eye from the kitchen. She turned and ran into the room, skidding to a halt when she saw the decimated room. And in the middle of it all, she saw her parents. Their bloodied bodies lay in heaps on the ground surrounded by the petals of red lotus flowers. They were already dead by the time y/n reached them. Painted on the wall were the words "the red lotus blooms" sprinkled with blood and more petals.
Y/n didn't actually know what to do. She sat between her parents' dead bodies in shock. Sebastian came in and tried to get her to leave and he couldn't. After minutes of trying to move the girl, he gave up and went to try and contact the police or a hero agency and gather any belongings that might be left. Y/n sat there for what felt like hours, tears streaming down her face but no sound leaving her mouth, until a sound spooked her out of her head.
"Sebastian?" Her voice was small and shaky. She finally looked up and who she saw wasn't Sebastian. He was a man, maybe in his early 20s, with brown hair and a large build. He could be somebody's personal attack dog with those muscles.
"Well what do we have here? Nobody told me the daughter would be home." The man outstretched his arm when he saw y/n try to move. "Don't bother, little one. Your butler is out-cold upstairs and no one is coming to save you. But I can't have loose ends can I? Well I'll just have to kill you both. Just like I did your sweet parents."
Y/n's breath hitched. Tears still streamed down her face when she looked the man dead in the eyes.
"You did this? You took mommy and daddy away from me?" Her voice slowly increased in volume. The brown haired man only smirked. Something in y/n snapped at that. She raised her hand and blasted a fireball at the man. The man dodged it and laughed, as he was not impressed. He produced a knife from underneath his flesh. He projected it at y/n and it sliced her face under her right eye. But y/n wasn't done. She assaulted him over and over again with fire. Then she switched to air and managed to blow him out the patio door. She ran outside following him. She turned on the hose and began to direct water at his face with the type of pressure found in fire hoses used by fire trucks. She dropped the water and began tearing apart the backyard, launching rocks and dirt at his face and his neck. His chest and his groin and his knees were being pelted with whatever y/n could bend. There was a statue in the garden near the back wall. She assumed a stance and she broke the head off of it. She suspended the head over her hands with her bending and walked over to the man, who was on the ground bleeding and breathing heavily.
"Please, have mercy." He whimpered and y/n only glared. Her tears weren't gone, but her sadness had been replaced with anger. She screamed.
"Did you have mercy on my parents!? Did you have mercy when you threw a knife at my face?!" She felt her hot anger coursing through her veins. She used her quirk to raise the stone head high but just before she could deliver the final blow, she felt her quirk slip away and the head exploded in a ball of fire.
She whirled around and found the pro-heroes and the police standing by her patio door. Eraserhead and Endeavor were standing in front of police officers with their guns drawn at her and she could see through the window that there were more officers investigating and bagging the bodies.
Mom...Dad...so they're really gone...
Y/n tried to step forward to go towards them, but a warning shot was fired into the wall behind her.
"Don't come any closer," an officer screamed. Sebastian came running out of the house and when he saw y/n he ran toward her, grabbing her and holding her close.
"Put your guns down cowards, she's a child and she's not a threat." Eraserhead glared at the man who had to be in charge.
"Not a threat? You see what she did to that man? Unsanctioned quirk use is an offense and so she's coming with us." The police chief moved towards y/n and Sebastian let go of her, while still holding her hand, and stood in front of her.
"She was defending herself from the man who murdered her parents. If you think she's going anywhere but a hospital, then you've got another thing coming." Y/n had never heard Sebastian talk like that. She was surprised at his tone of voice, but relieved someone was looking out for her.
Endeavor growled and walked to stand in front of Sebastian and y/n. "If you wanna prosecute her fine but we've had enough injuries and death today. The girl has a powerful quirk but she's not immune to blood loss."
As if on cue y/n fainted.
