Ch 56: Quirk x 3

Y/n POV

Today was a play date day for the kids and a work day for the adults.  Except me who actually finishes her work at work, Shoto, Izuku, and Katsuki were sitting on our patios with paperwork and computers surrounding them.

Nyoko was playing Descendants with Toyokazu and Kitaro was playing on the shallow end of the pool with colorful bath bombs that were safe to use in the pool. I was designing for a new collection which should turn out profitable because it's a(n) y/n original.

Narrator POV

Nyoko was standing on top of her playground looking down on Toyokazu who was being the VKs trying to rescue Prince Ben (stuffed Katsuki doll) from Uma (Nyoko).

"Give me the wand or you'll never get the prince! AHAHAH!" Nyoko laughed as she rubbed her hands together evilly. Toyokazu stayed in character until he noticed something. 

"Um KoKo what's on your hands?" He asked her. She quirked an eyebrow and looked at her hands which were now covered in a white powdery substance. She tilted her head to the side and then all of a sudden, her hands exploded. 

She flew off the playground and Toyokazu stretched out his hands in worry. Nyoko was then surrounded in a purple aura and she was floating above the ground, along with every other loose rock and stick in the backyard. 

Nyoko's hands were still on fire which scared her so she cried and Toyokazu didn't know how to put everything down so he cried.

Meanwhile in the pool...

"Mommy look!" Kitaro swirled his hands in the water, trying to show his mother the twisting colors in the pool. Before he knew it the swirl was larger and sunk underneath him, pushing him up in the air.

Kitaro was now sitting on the top of a water spout and he couldn't get down. So of course all that was left for him to do, was cry.

Y/n  POV

We heard the explosion and the rushing water and all of our children crying and looked around our backyard in awe. I jumped out of the chair and ran towards Kitaro, because I was the only person that could get him down carefully.

"Mommy!" He said reaching down with tears in his eyes. I appraised the water spout he was sitting on and  stretched my hands out to use my quirk to bring it back down. 

"Hold on Kita. Mommy's gonna get you down," I told him reassuringly. I used my quirk to slowly lower the water and I could feel Kita's hold on it. So he has a very powerful water quirk...Interesting. 

I got in the pool so he could come straight into my arms but when he was close to getting all the way down, explosions came from his feet and he barreled into me, knocking us both underwater. 

I resurfaced both of us and held onto him, patting his back so he could cough up any water. His little arms where choking me but I knew he needed the reassurance.

"Shhh you're ok, Mommy's got you," I whispered to him and kissed his forehead. He nodded and took deep breaths with me. Well it was bound to happen sooner or later.

Meanwhile with the guys and Nyoko....

Katsuki POV

"Deku calm down your son! I'll grab Nyoko and then IcyHot freeze us a way down!" I shouted as I ran towards Nyoko who was floating in a purple aura above the playground. She was crying and I was very upset that something had made her upset.

I jumped and set off explosions to propel me to her height. She was crying  and holding her hands out in front of her. She noticed me coming and she shook her head.
