Ch 18: The Symbol of Peace

Katsuki POV 

The idiots who came to be my escape route and I walked back out into the city. We started watching the broadcast of the fight between All Might and One for All. IcyHot was strangely quiet even though most of us were commenting. 

Y/n POV

I tried again to break through the wall. It was difficult bending with only my feet. But in the end i didnt need to break through the wall.

A shockwave from All Might's fight crumbled the building i was in. I was near the top but there were still floors above me.

When the building started coming down i used a blast of air from my feet to flip me. Land on your hands and roll! Land on your hands and roll!

I landed and broke one of my wrists. I rolled away and coughed the dust out of my throat. I looked up and i could still see the battlefield. I was so tired all i could was watch.

All Might looked frail and broken, battered and bloody. He had stopped moving. You can do it All Might!! Beat him! All Might powered up again on one side but Endeavor showed up. He shouted words of encouragement and Edgeshot and Kamui Woods were able to get the other wounded pros out of harm's way. They didnt know i was here but i didnt mind. I'm gonna watch All Might win this. 

"ALL MIGHT!!" Was the collective shout from all those watching right now. All those who had a shred of hope left in their hearts.

All For One was determined to take away that hope. His body shifted and he started naming off quirks. How is it even possible to have that many quirks? All for one said that Midoriya had inherited One for All but what does that even mean?

The two charged each other. The shockwave blew me back until i hit another crumbling building. I got up as quick as i could and turned back towards the fight. All Might was still giving everything he had but All For One didnt back down. But All Might never gives up.

"UNITED STATES OF SMASH!!!" All Might punched All For One and stood the victor. Oh fucking yeah!!! I could feel the tears coming down my face. I had never been so inspired like that.

All my life I'd just been going through the motions. I only just recently started doing whats best for me. And even though i was forced into this, i now understand what it means to be a hero, and i want that life for myself.

I forced myself to stand up, ignoring the dizzying pain and the headache i had. I started making my way to the city. Maybe I'll find Katsuki. The thought kept me going.

Katsuki POV

All Might had won the battle. Kirishima suggested we go let the heroes know I'm ok. I turned to him.

"How's y/n doing? I bet she missed me." I smirked at him but then i saw the look on his face, as well as the others. "What?" Kirishima looked at the other two before talking a deep breath.

"Bakugou, she got kidnapped too. When she wasn't at the place the tracker took us, we assumed she was with you at the other hideout. But then only you got transported here and—" i cut him off with a shout.

"And you all just stood around and nobody thought to tell me?" I couldn't help it. I ran back towards the battlefield. I'm the reason All Might had to fight and risk his life. I'm not gonna mess another thing up today.

I ran through the crowd looking every which way. Then i saw her. She was bleeding from her side, and her hands and wrists were burnt. She moved unsteadily on her feet but her e/c eyes shone brighter than ever before. I ran towards her and called out to her.
