Ch 38: Heroes Assemble

Y/n POV

"Y/n where do you want your desk?" Sebastian asked as he and Katsuki's dad carried it in. I pointed to place I wanted it in the office I shared with Katsuki. It was actually his idea, which is why he wanted the biggest room. I was standing on a ladder, hanging the giant clock that he had also wanted. 

"Thank you guys so much for helping us arrange this place," I said as I climbed down the ladder. Our parents told us not to hire any movers because they would help us. So we've been coming here after work every day to get things into order so we could officially open.

Sero, Kirishima, Katsuki, and I had taken the deed to the building to the Hero Public Safety Commission. Mera was surprised to see us back so soon but he sent out an inspector the same day so we got our certificate of permission to operate. 

"Y/n the boys need you in the other room," Jiro said running in. 

"Why? What did they break?" Jiro shrugged which wasn't a calming sign.

"They didn't explain, just meet them in the surveillance room," she said and she waited for me to follow her out. I was keeping my cool pretty well but when I heard the yelling, my heart dropped.

"Y/n is gonna kill me..." Kaminari said through sniffles. I looked around the room and didn't see anything wrong. Until I saw our surveillance TV turned about 145 degrees to the right. Katsuki appeared behind me all smooth.

"It wasn't me. Dunce Face and Tape Arms messed it up," he said trying to kiss my cheeks all innocent. I put my hand up and blocked him, then I pushed his face back.

"Excuse me, my tape arms are what's keeping this thing from falling off the wall," Sero said and indeed he was up on the ceiling holding the tv up. I sighed and approached the wall, feeling the mounting device. Malleable metal, nice.

I used my quirk to fix the wall mount, which hadn't been placed correctly on the wall. I adjusted it and then turned to Sero.

"Ok pull the tv this way, and Katsuki and Kaminari make it straight."

"Yes ma'am!" They all said. We managed to get the tv on the wall straight and it stayed up. Sero and Kaminari left to go help Kirishima and I pulled Katsuki into a kiss. He blushed furiously.

"What was that for?" He asked, averting his eyes.

"I'm just excited to get to hero work with you and the others," I said with a smile. He looked back to me and showed me a small smile before his mom came in.

"Hey Katsuki, we— oh was I interrupting something?" She wiggled her eyebrows making Katsuki grumble and me laugh nervously. I shook my head and she told us that everything had been arranged and we were ready to go. 

We all met in one of the break rooms and poured drinks. Champagne for the adults and sparkling apple cider for us kids who are all under 20. 

"To LORRE," Kirishima said raising his glass. 

"To LORRE!!" We all clinked our cups and drank up. Soon it was time for the parent's to leave and for us to get to work.

We all went to the surveillance room. Since we didn't have employees yet we would have to do everything from looking for the crime to happen, to solving it, to filing the reports about it. But it was nothing we couldn't handle.

I got a box out from a drawer and opened it. Inside were radio ear pieces. 

"Everyone gets one. That way we can communicate with each other in the case our phones don't work or aren't available," I said passing them out. Once we got all the ear pieces online, little icons for each of us showed up on the map of the city displayed on the TV.
