I paced back and forth on my room as I waited for his reply. At muntik na akong mapatalon nang nag-beep 'yong phone ko, hudyat na may reply nga siya.
Luci:
May I know your reason?
Napakagat ako sa labi ko. Should I tell him the truth? Well, there's no reason to lie at all so I should.
Me:
I'm going on a date with Theo.
Nagpaalam kasi ako sa kanyang hindi muna ako magpapaturo ngayon dahil nagyaya si Theo na pumunta sa kung saan.
Honestly, I really don't know what I'm doing. I don't know if I'm doing things the right way.
Pero tama naman siguro 'to 'di ba? I'm diverting my attention to another person.
Napatitig ako sa screen ng phone ko nang dumaan na ang limang minuto at hindi pa rin siya nagre-reply.
Maybe it's okay?
Naghintay pa ako ng ilang minuto pero wala talaga siyang reply. Magtutungo na sana ako sa walk-in closet pero 'saka naman nag-beep 'yong phone ko.
Luci:
Where?
It took him a couple of minutes to reply me this question. And I don't understand.
Me:
Anong saan?
Agad-agaran naman ang reply niya.
Luci:
Saan ka niya dadalhin?
I pondered at his question. Saan ba ako dadalhin ni Theo? Well, he said that he's going to take me to their resort. Hindi ko nga lang alam kung saan at anong pangalan. I never heard about it because I'm never really fond of going out.
Me:
Sa resort daw nila.
That was my last response to him before I finally went to the address that Theo gave me.
Susunduin niya sana ako sa bahay pero nang mabanggit ko ang pangalan ni Kuya Eisen at Kuya Ezra, parang nagbago bigla ang isip niya at sinabihan akong susunduin na lang sa bakuna ng resort nila.
Maaliwalas ang ngiting umabot na sa chinitong mga mata na nakaabang sa akin si Theo pagkalabas na pagkalabas ko ng sasakyan.

"Hi, Cara, masaya akong nakapunta ka." His playful smile spread across his face as he scratched the back of his nape boyishly.
Ginawaran ko siya ng ngiti pabalik.
"I did promise you," I said in a cheery voice.
He i.s still smiling widely when his eyes lingered on my strapless floral beach dress that only reached my mid thighs.
"You look sexy in your dress." A smirk surfaced on his lips.
Bigla akong na-conscious sa papuri at klase ng tingin na iginawad niya kaya hindi agad ako nakapagsalita.
"It's such a shame that I forgot to greet you hello," he added and chuckled.
Clueless ko siyang tiningnan. I think it isn't necessary to say hello since he already greeted me.
"Can I greet you hello?" Dahan-dahan siyang lumapit sa akin.
At bago pa ako tuluyang makaatras ay lumapit na siya ng husto.
