Wakas
Luci's Point of View
Peaceful, calm... and almost boring.
That's how my life has always been. Nakaplano na ang lahat na pagkatapos na pagkatapos ko ng college, ako na ang mamumuno sa kompanya since Kuya Ellia has other plans. And eventually, marry someone who's essential for the company as what my parents want.
But I wanted something new so I moved out from my parent's house together with my younger brother, Gael.
We moved in an old house in El Valencia, a town a bit far away from the city where our family is living.
And again, I am disappointed. It is fucking peaceful here. Wala na bang bago?
Ano ba talagang hinahanap ko? Gulo? I don't know, I just want something that will make me feel alive and strive.
Everything is just so bland so I had girls here and there. Just a bit of something physical.
"Luci, paturo nga no'ng activity sa isang subject natin, wala akong maintindihan." Yvette scooted closer to where I'm sitting.
I nodded and smirked but then, I can't seem to pay more attention to her when our friends started teasing Ezra.
And since then, I didn't realize I started paying more attention to her.
She always look so detached from all the people that's not close to her but when she laughed and talked to our friends, I was damn mesmerized and amazed.
Akala ko ang mahal-mahal ng ngiti niya but here she is, smiling effortlessly with Ben's joke.
And when she bid goodbye to my friends together with her cousins, I sighed.
"Is there something you might want to tell me?" Gael smirked as we both went to the parking lot.
And guess what you'll do? Maghuhugas ka ng pinggan," I spat and put on my helmet.
Of course I'm not attracted to Eisen and Ezra's cousin. I'm just curious about her. That's all.
I've seen her answer Gael's question once and she also laughed at his joke. Ako lang ang parang hangin sa kanya.
So when something unfortunate happened, I can't believe I would still be thankful for it.
