My heart is still beating erratically when Luci finally opened the car's door for me.

Para akong nakalutang lang nang nakatapak na sa lupa. Nang nagtama ang mata naming dalawa ay kaagad din akong nangingiti na nag-iwas ng tingin.

And unlike me, he didn't even make an effort to stifle the smile on his lips, it just lazily tugged on both of its corners.

"Thank you."

I tried so hard but those two words was the only thing I could mutter.

Tumango lang siya sa akin, nakatanaw na kay Kuya Ezra na kakalabas lang ng gate.

"Luci, thank you for taking my little cousin home."

Agad na gumapang ang init sa pisngi ko dahil sa itinawag ni Kuya Ezra sa akin.

I threw him a subtle glare but he just returned me an oblivious and serious stare.

Nakakainis. Bakit ba kailangan pa akong tawagin ni Kuya Ezra ng 'little cousin'? At sa harap pa talaga ni Luci? Hindi niya naman ako tinatawag ng ganyan ah?

Luci looked at me for a brief moment with an amused smile before he returned Kuya Ezra's 'thank you' with a nod.

And before I knew it, Kuya Ezra is now inviting him for a dinner inside. And he has no choice but to politely accept the offer.

Nakasunod ako sa likod nilang dalawa dahil bukod sa sobrang hinhin ng paglalakad, ang hahaba ng binti nilang dalawa, hindi ako makasabay.

I creased my brows, trying to grasp what their conversation is about. It's about a conference and I can't seem to understand.

Nalingunan ako ni Luci na nakakunot ang noo. His serious expression from their conversation immediately turned into a soft smile before he slowed down his pace just to walk beside me.

He is still keeping up with Kuya Ezra's conversation when he did that. Pero napalingon na rin sa akin si Kuya Ezra. He seemed to be clueless as he looked at me and Luci.

"Hmm... I hope my little cousin's not giving you a hard time as a tutee," Kuya switched the topic towards me.

Kulang na lang talaga ay iirapan ko na ng todo si Kuya Ezra. What's with him calling me little cousin today?

"Hmm... madali lang naman siyang turuan," Luci replied.

At dahil mas nauna na sa paglalakad sa amin si Kuya Ezra ay hindi niya na kami pinansin pa ni Luci na nahuhuli na sa paglalakad.

"Cara's a good girl," Luci whispered just enough for me to hear.

I almost choked on the air I'm breathing.

"Though she seems to always ask for a break," he added and chuckled.

I know it wasn't his intention. But the first thing that he said sounds... sensual to me.

What the heck? Now I remember the kinky things that Andy has shoved inside my innocent mind!

I'm so young, and corrupted!

Sinubukan kong ialis ang mga nakakahindik na bagay sa isipan nang nakapasok na kami sa loob at sinalubong mismo ng nakangiting si Tita Helen.

Nang nasa hapag na ay hindi na ako makasunod pa sa pinag-uusapan nila. I am completely clueless. Base on their conversation, Tita Helen and Tito Gilbert knows about Luci's family.

They were talking about business that made me wonder about Luci's life. And he has a family other than Gael. Akala ko kasi silang dalawa lang ng kapatid niya.
