Chapter 37: The Final Assault: Part 4

"Valerie!!" I screeched, crashing into the clearing.

"I heard." She held up a small brown shard. "Korrina's Lucario is much faster than you."

"I..."

"Go fight. I don't want to talk about it Soleil, and I don't think you want to either." Valerie turned to a Luxray with a burn on it's leg.

She had me there. I didn't think I'd ever get that scene out of my head.

"Zorua, Ampharos, c'mon!" We dashed back into the fray.

There was a loud roar, and I looked up to see Zygarde fighing a couple of trainers. I could see Wallace, Iris, Brycen, and Drayden fighting the legendary with not much luck, as Iris's Haxorus went flying and crashed into a bunch of grunts.

On the other hand, around 15 less grunts to fight.

"Ampharos, Thunderbolt! Zorua, Night Daze!" I yelled. Ampharos let loose bolts of lightning while running after me. Zorua lifted her paws as a dark dome of black energy formed, and she slammed into the ground, the dome barreling over a bunch of admins and their Pokémon. Bugsy ran by with his Butterfree and Scyther behind him. A Mightyena leaped towards him, and the Scyther intercepted it with it's Fury Cutter attack. I slipped between Jasmine and Roxanne and headed deeper into the fray. I grabbed my other 3 PokéBalls and popped them open.

"Delcatty, Blizzard! Ampharos and Latias, Dragon Pulse! Zorua, Shadow Ball! Emolga, Acrobatics!!" I screamed. Zorua and Delcatty charged after a Swalot, Latias engaged a Dragonite in combat, Emolga launched herself onto a Golem, and Ampharos started beating up a Venomoth. Rather well, I might add.

Suddenly, a shadow loomed up behind me. I whipped around to see a Camerupt with it's front feet (hooves?) raised above my head.

"AAAAAGGGHH!!!" I screeched. I was paralyzed with terror. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Zorua and Emolga racing towards me (gliding, in Emolga's case).

Then-

"Bronzong, Flash Cannon!!"

Someone knocked me out of the way as the Camerupt brought it's hooves/feet down. A Bronzong turned on it's side, charging up it's Flash Cannon.

The Camerupt was blasted in the face with a silver beam of energy.

"Ugh..." I blinked the dirt and blurriness out if my eyes.

A man with purple lensed glasses, hair, and eyes and a mahogany suit was standing next to me with a Bronzong. The Camerupt had gotted back up, and it's trainer joined it with a Mightyena, Hitmonlee, and a Rhydon in tow, and their trainers.

3 other trainers were facing off with them.

One was Aaron with his Drapion. The one with the Hippowdon was Bertha. A guy with really wierd red hair was standing next to an Infernape.

"Um, who are you?"

"Lucian. From the Sinnoh Elite Four."

"Who's the guy with the really wierd bushy red hair?"

"I HEARD THAT!!"

"SEE, FLINT!? SOMEONE AGREES WITH ME!! DRAPION, X-SCISSOR!!" Aaron yelled, ducking under the Camerupt's Flamethrower.

"We are in a WAR. Kindly keep quiet, would you? Hippowdon, Stone Edge!" Bertha snapped.

"Yeah..." I said as Zorua leaped on me happily.
