Chapter 14: Shalour City and a Pretty Wild Gym Leader

Route 10, Geosenge Town, Route 11, and Reflection Cave were pretty low key. Nothing special. Soleil managed to nab a Emolga on Route 10. I caught a Luxray (Don't ask me what a LUXRAY was doing wandering around Reflection Cave). I named him Thunder.
Shalour City was AMAZING. It was beautiful.
As soon as we got there, we headed straight for the Gym, but the door was locked.
"Hmm. Now what?" I groaned.
"Let's check out the Tower of Mastery. It's a pretty cool place." Soleil said.
"Sure." We walked to the Tower of Mastery.
That place looked impressive from the outside, and really tall.
"Well? Let's go in!" I pushed open the door and we both walked in.
"Doesn't look like anybody-"
"WHOA!! LOOK OUT!! I CAN'T REALLY CONTROL MYSELF!! AHH!! LOOK OUT!!!"
We both whipped around.
A girl with a blonde ponytail, pink and white helmet, pink and white cheerleader's outfit, white gloves, and pink and white roller skates was racing towards us. Her arm was also in a sling.
"Oh great Arceus, she's headed right for us!" Soleil yelped. We both leaped out of the way, and we heard a loud crash.
"KORRINA! What are you doing?" An old man came striding out towards her, who was sitting in a heap on the ground.
3 words about the man: Mega Eyebrows confirmed.
"Sorry. But I can't stay cooped up much longer!" The girl-Korrina-replied, grinning.
"Anyways, I apologize for my granddaughter's behavior. Welcome to the Tower of Mastery!" The man said to us.
"Actually, we're looking for the Shalour Gym Leader. Grant said we could get some info."
"About these strange activites? Well being cooped up in a hospital for a week kinda leaves you out of the info mill for a while." The girl-Korrina-glared at the man.
"The gym was attacked, and you were the one who got the most injuries. You needed to be sent to a hospital."
"I was perfectly fine, compared to another Gym Leader... Sorry. Plus, hand over my Pokégear!"
"Fine." The man handed her a Pokégear with a cover shaped like the Knuckle Badge, Shalour City's Gym Badge.
"Wait... YOU'RE THAT KORRINA!?!?" Soleil and I screeched at the same time.
"Yeah. Weren't you listening? Jeez, 12 missed calls. Oh, look, a call from the same person. Hello? This is Leader Korrina of the Shalour Gym. I'm kind-"
"KORRINA, WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING!?!?"
"Diantha!? Where have YOU been these past few days!? This isn't your number. Also, I've been cooped up in a hospital for a week with no means of communication." Korrina shot back. "Call my videophone."
"Hey, have you met 2 trainers, one with a Shiny Umbreon and the other with a Zorua?"
"Hi?" Soleil and I both said.
"Bring them with you. We need to talk." And with that, the call was disconnected.
"Come on! Race you to my room. It's the one up there." Korrina pointed at a room near the top, then skated off.
"I apologize for Korrina's behavior. She doesn't really like not being able to roller skate." The man sighed.
"It's fine. Let's go, Soleil!" We began to climb the stairs.
