Chapter 41: A Legendary Battle

"Let's go guys!!" I yelled. "Flame, pick up Foofoo and Whirlpool!! Latios, grab Essy!! Luxray, Shadow, keep up!!"

Latios swooped down as Essy leaped on top of us. Foofoo and Whirlpool leaped on Flame.

"And now, I realize none of us have any attacks that are very supereffective against any of them. Gre-DODGE!!"

Latios barrel-rolled under Xerneas's Moonblast as Shadow and Thunder leaped out of the path of Yveltal's Dark Pulse.

"Thunder, Thunderbolt!! Essy, Disarming Voice!! Flame, Flame Charge!!" I yelled.

Essy let out a loud cry, and hearts spriraled towards Yveltal as Thunder let loose a bolt of electricity. Both smashed into Yveltal, who roared furiously.

Flame enveloped himself in fire and charged at Xerneas, smashing into one of her horns as she screeched.

"Yes!!"
'Aleksi!! I thought I'd taught you to never celebrate early!! These are not legendary Pokémon for nothing!!'
'Viola... Sorry...'

Thunder and Shadow jumped off of the rafters and onto Yveltal and Xerneas respectively.

"Foofoo, Swift!! Whirlpool, Ice Beam!! Dusk, Dark Pulse!!"

Foofoo swished her arm through the air, and stars shot towards both Pokémon as Whirlpool's Ice Beam and Dusk's Dark Pulse smashed into the stars, sending a large ripple of wind through the chamber and smoke.

The stars were covered with ice, and black hoops circled around them.

"YES!! FINALLY!!" I yelled as they crashed into the legendaries. "JUST WHEN I NEEDED IT!! YESS!! WAH-"

I had NOT noticed that my fist was heating up and glowing until then.
'A little help, please!?'
'Just point your fist at the legendaries!'
'Why!?'

Albeit, I did it.

A large purple-colored beam of starlight shot out from my hands and hit Xerneas in the face.

Ouch.

"Um... Explanation, please...?" I said out loud as Latios swooped under Yveltal's wing, nearly missing my head.
'Looks like you've figured out one aspect.'
'Tate!?'
'I'm not a Realm Warrior, but a Psychic like me has close ties to the original Realm Warrior Line.'
'Can you just explain!?' I screamed in my head as Xerneas Megahorned Shadow, making him growl, then leap back with a ball of shadows forming in his mouth.
'Ugh. Realm Warriors can draw on the power of different types from the Realm of Legendaries by thinking about the type they want the attack to be. Which you obviously just figured out.'
'Um... That was accidental...'
'...I hate you...'

"SHADOW, DUSK, DOUBLE DARK PULSE!!" I yelled.

Both of them opened their mouthes, and 2 beams of dark energy hit Xerneas, who just shrugged it off. Her eyes were still glowing red. So were Yveltal's.

I put my hand up towards Yveltal. A pink and yellow ball of starlight flew towards Yveltal, who dodged while trying to shoot Thunder off his huge wing, causing it to slam into the supports.

Causing rocks to land right on Flame, who shrieked and fell downwards. Foofoo and Whirlpool barely had time to leap off and onto the legendaries before he hit the ground.

"FLAME!!" I shrieked, leaping off Latios.

"BREON!!" Dusk yelled after me as I landed on the floor and raced to where Flame was standing.
