Chapter 5: Elise Ways

We landed in front of the Santalune City Pokémon Center.

"I'll go get us a room." Soleil said, returning Latias, then running in. I returned Latios, then ran after her.

The Santalune Pokémon Center is just like your typical Pokémon Center. The dorms on the right, cafeteria on the left, reception desk in the middle, the examination room beyond a door behind reception, and a couple of PCs lining the right wall. I walked to the cafeteria and picked up a sandwich, some fruit, and 2 cans of Pokéfood.

"Go, Latios! Chow time!" I yelled. Dusk and Latios started scarfing down the food at record speed.

For a legendary, he can eat fast.

I took a bite out of my sandwich. Ham and cheese. Yum. Soleil walked in, grabbed a salad and more Pokéfood, and sat down next to me.

"So, what next?" she asked, opening the Pokéfood and sending out Latias.

"The first Gym should've been the Santalune Gym, but there isn't really any Gym Leader to battle. The next gym is in Cyllage City, so we'll take Route 4 to Lumiose, then head to Cyllage." I replied, stuffing another bite in my mouth.

All of a sudden, screaming was coming from the lobby.

"What the heck is going on!?" Soleil screeched over the noise.

"I don't know! Let's go check it out!" I yelled back. I returned Latios, because he couldn't fit through the door, and sped out into complete destruction.

Thankfully, most of the people and Pokémon had escaped. The reception desk had been blasted apart, the PCs were charred and smoking, and there was a large crater in the floor.

There was an Aggron advancing on a 6 year old girl with purple highlights in her sky blue hair. A man in a hooded cape was laughing maliciously.

"No, don't! I just needed to deliver a message!" the girl squeaked desperately, backing up against a wall.

"I don't think so. Aggron, Flash Cannon!" the man yelled.

"NO! Dusk, HYPERBEAM!!" I screeched. Dusk leaped in front of the girl, and a orange energy beam fired out of his moth, meeting the silver one in midair.

"How dare you interefere! Aggron, Iron Tail!" The man roared. Aggron's tail turned into iron and it swept it towards us.

"Zorua, Extrasensory!" Soleil yelled. Zorua shot a beam of multicolored light at the tail, which stopped it.

"Dusk, Quick Attack!" I hollered, racing towards the man. Dusk launched himself forwards at lightning speed, and smashed into the Aggron at full speed.

"Zorua, NIGHT DAZE!!!" Soleil screamed. Zorua brought her paws up and slammed them against the floor, creating a dome of dark energy that raced towards Aggron. Aggron, being the slow Pokémon he was, was slammed head on. He toppled backwards and slammed into the ground.

"You haven't won... Aggron won't be affected by petty moves like that! Aggron, SUPERPOWER!" The man yelled.

Oh, snap. This man is no normal trainer.

"Dusk! Get out of there!" I screeched.

"Zorua, DODGE!" Soleil screamed. Both leaped up, but Aggron slammed his fist into both of them, and they went flying and slammed into the wall. The shockwave lifted the man's cloak for just a second. I didn't notice but Soleil gasped.

"Oh, you did NOT just do that!!" I screamed. "Go, LATIOS!!"

"That's probably not a good idea!" Soleil yelled.

"LUSTER PURGE!!!" I shrieked.

Sparkles formed in front of Latios's mouth, combining into a purple ball of psychic energy. Then a beam shot out of the ball and knocked Aggron out. The man growled as he returned his Pokémon.

"You will pay dearly for this, I assure you. Remember this: the Elite Four sends their regards!" He yelled.

Smoke filled the room. I'm pretty sure he got away as we were all hacking and coughing. The smoke cleared.

"Hey Dusk, you look way better!" I exclaimed as he bounded up.

"You really need to have more common sense. What were you thinking, battling the enemy with a super powerful Pokémon like that?" the girl said.

I snapped.

"Excuse me? He was about to blast you in the face with Flash Cannon... um..."

"Elise. Elise Ways. But you do NOT want to make an enemy out of that man."

"She's right, you know." Soleil said.

"Who was that guy anyways?" I asked. I had a assumption that wasn't very good-because of the way he talked- and it didn't help matters that it was true.

"That guy was Wikstrom of the Elite Four, Aleksi."

The only mysteries that remain are

a)What happened to Professor Sycamore?

b) And where in the world is Diantha?
