Chapter 9: Even More Revelations

"Wha-!?" Soleil, Elise, and I gasped at the same time.

"That's why Diantha suddenly disappeared without warning! You idiots kidnapped her!!" Soleil screamed.

"Ahahahaha!! That's right, we did kidnap her!! And it was pretty easy too!!" Jocelyn laughed.

"Why you- How about doing stuff yourself instead of sending in other people to do your dirty work!!" Diantha yelled.

"Shut up!!" Jacelyn yelled back.

"Diantha!!" I yelled.

"Who's that?"

"My name is Aleksi!" I hollered back.

"Aleksi!? Is there another girl called Soleil with you?"

"Um... Yeah, I can hear all of this!" Soleil exclaimed indignantly.

"Tell the next Kalos Gym Leader you see that help is on it's wa-"

"Be quiet!!" Jacelyn screamed, smashing the cube onto the ground.

It shattered into pieces, and Diantha's voice was cut off.

"We'll be taking your Pokémon, thank you!" Jocelyn snapped.

"Not likely! Dusk, Dark Pulse!" I yelled. Dusk shot a beam of darkness right at the sisters, causing an explosion.

"Split up and get out of here! We'll meet at the Lumiose Gates!!" Soleil yelled. She sprinted left, and Elise sprinted right, leaving me to dive into the northwestern hedge maze.

The people who created the maze made it really complicated. After a few minutes of running through, I was completely lost.

"Looks like they're not following me anymore. Dusk, let's get outta here!" I whispered. We started running, then froze as we heard voices.

"Jacelyn, you get the girl with the Latias! I'll get the girl with the Latios. We'll grab the Altaria later!"

"Oh, great Arceus! Dusk, we need to move!" We dashed through the maze, not caring about where we went.

At least until we ran into a dead end.

"DAMMIT!!" I yelled, punching the hedge. We turned around to go back.

A Salamence with Jocelyn on it blocked our path.

"We've got you cornered. Hand over the Latios and you'll escape unharmed." she sneered.

"Not likely. Dusk, use-"

"Ariados!"

"Mmphbreon!!" An Ariados had tied Dusk up so he couldn't attack.

'If I release any of my other Pokémon, she'll tie them up or capture them! What do I-'

"Time's up! You're boring me. Salamence, HyperBeam!"

The Salamence opened it's mouth, and orange sparkles materialized in front of it. A beam of orange light raced towards my face.

"Solrock, Light Screen!"

"Lunatone, Light Screen!"

"Macargo, Flamethrower!"

A Solrock and Lunatone flew in front of me, and a barrier of light materialized in front of me. The HyperBeam smashed into it hard, but the wall stayed strong.

"Wha-!?"

A Macargo shot a blast of fire at the Salamence. Salamence roared and nearly flung Jocelyn off.

"Argh!!" She yelled as 3 people leaped over the hedge.

2 of them were about 16, and the same height, although one was a boy and the other was a girl. They had their black hair in buns, and the girl had some hanging off the sides. Both were wearing navy blue jackets with star buttons on them, navy blue pants, and black shoes. The boy's buttons were green, and the girl's buttons were pink.

The other person was a girl in her late teens or early 20s. She had fiery red hair in a ponytail that kind of burst into a star shape. Her flame-patterned halter top was had a half-cut black jacket thrown over it. She wore loose jeans with a white flame-patterned belt and sneakers.

"Can SOMEBODY tell me what's going on!?!?" I screamed.

"We're part of the patrol group sent to Kalos from the Hoenn Trainers of Justice division!" The flame-haired girl yelled.

"Wait-WHAT!?"

"NO TIME TO EXPLAIN!! Tate, Liza, battle formation!"

They quickly managed to encircle Jocelyn and her Salamence.

"Grr... We'll get you back!" Jocelyn yelled as she took off towards her ship. She stepped in, and the ship flashed off.

"Phew! Let's meet up with the rest of the team at the Lumiose Gates." The boy-Tate, I think- said.

"Hold on! What about my friends!?" I yelled.

"Norman and Winona went left at the split-up point, and Wallace went right." Liza said.

"Only one person went after Elise?" I said, a little upset.

"Wallace is the Hoenn Champion. Pokémon hunters mean nothing to him. We need to go!"

"Right. Lunatone, Teleport!" Liza commanded.

"Are you 2 OK!?" I demanded once we appeared at the gates.

"Yeah. Thanks for helping us, by the way!" Soleil said to the trainers.

"No problem. But you should probably get going. It might not be safe here." That was the woman riding the Altaria.

"Sure. Good-bye!" Elise and Soleil sped through the gates.

I risked a quick look back.

They were having a heated conversation about something, and Flannery had a Pokégear out.

I could just barely make out a few words.

"Hello? Steven? Yeah, we've got a problem here..."

I ran through the gates.

Well, to all those Hoenn fans out there, here come a few Hoenn Gym Leaders, and a Champion!

They'll come back, along with some other Gym leaders. Don't worry.
