Chapter 36: The Final Assault: Part 3
I ducked into a doorway as two admins walked by.
Probably on their way to Geosenge.
TOTALLY unfair that we only have a limited number, and their numbers seem almost endless. I peeked around the doorway, then sprinted off.
To my surprise, so far, I hadn't seen many people around. I'd assume they were all on the battlefield.
But I knew that the Elite Four were in here somewhere. Why? I saw Malva with Lysandre. So they have to be in here somewhere.
"Thunder, come out!" I muttered under my breath as he popped out of his PokéBall.
For being one of the largest members of my team, he sure can be stealthy.
"Use your X-Ray vision to look through that door!"
The large iron door was blocking the way, and I DID want to make sure there was't anyone behind it before I either figured out how to open it, or just busted it down.
Thunder's eyes glowed yellow, and beams shot from them. After a few seconds, he shook his head.
                              "Lux, ray."
"Gotcha. Thanks." I tapped him with his PokéBall, and he disappeared as Dusk and I ran up to the door.
"Hmm..." The door was VERY large, and I couldn't see a hidden handle or button anywhere, making me very irritated.
"Is Flame just going to have to torch this thing?" I grumbled in frustration, leaning on it as Dusk flopped down on the floor next to me.
The door slid slightly to the right.
"Uh, what?" I tapped on the door in confusion, and a hollow metal sound echoed from it.
"Oh, you've got to be kidding me." I groaned, sliding the door just enough so Dusk and I could slip in, and sliding it closed behind me.
A giant room opened in front of me. There were 5 other doors. 2 on each side, and one on the opposite side of the room.
Tables, computers, lab equipment, papers, writing utensils, PokéBall diagrams, PokéBalls, wierd objects, and candy (didn't get that last one. Maybe they like candy) covered the room. Shelves, cabinets, and a zillion other storage systems were placed here and there.
Dusk and I walked silently through. There was no noise except for our footsteps and a wierd humming sound. Dusk didn't seem to particularly like a certain metal rod thingy, and I jumped when a tiny Joltik robot landed on my hand.
"This place is creepy. Flame, Foofoo, Thunder, c'mon out." All three materialized in front of me, then scurried off to explore this extremely wierd place.
I think we were in there for about an hour before Thunder roared (quietly).
                              Footsteps were heading this way.
Flame flew up into a shadowed area in the corner rafters, Thunder leaped up to the opposite corner, Foofoo leaped into a cabinet, and Dusk and I settled for a table. Yeah, lame, right?
Malva stormed into the room, sliding the door shut behind her.
She looked angry. And the other Elite Four members seemed to think the exact same as they walked out of the doors on the sides.
"We NEED to talk." Malva hissed.
"Whatever you say." Siebold shrugged irritatingly. "What is it?"
The humming noise was louder now, for some reason.
"Those stupid Trainers of Justice are still fighting out there, even with Zygarde's help. We need to hurry and awaken the other 2 legendaries, and FAST!"
