We left Shalour City, with Korrina promising to contact the other regions to get them to come here, and to evacuate everyone to different regions.

"Aw, DAMMIT!! I forgot, to get to Coumarine, we need a Water-Type Pokémon!" I groaned.

"Whoa! We haven't even planned out our next move!"

"Simple. Ideally, we go to Coumarine-and talk to Ramos there-and then go through the Lumiose Badlands back to Lumiose City. They've probably fixed the power by now, so we should be able to explore more of the city, and talk to Clemont as well. Then we take the Route 4 gate through Camphrier, Route 6, Connecting Cave, Cyllage City, and Route 10 to get to Geosenge." I replied.

"Ohhhhhhkay... Now, what do we do about the Water-Pokémon problem? I suppose we could just use Latias and Latios and fly over, but I don't want to attract any unwanted attention." Soleil gestured. "Plus, the winds up above the sea can be pretty chaotic at times."

"I've got a solution!" A voice-a highly familiar one, that is-called out.

"Hold up... That can't be..." Both of us turned around.

A 1st grader with sky-blue hair with purple highlights ran up, clutching a PokéBall. She had changed her outfit. She wore an orange t-shirt, a black vest, white shorts, long black socks, and biege riding boots.

"Elise!?" Soleil and I both yelped.

"Clemont made an announcement that Lumiose City would be evacuating tomorrow, but I didn't want to go, so I'm staying behind in Kalos. Anyways, I ran into Korrina, and she told me everything. A war in 5 days?"

"Yep. 5 days to collect as much info as possible, relay it back to the Kalos Gym Leaders and get back to Geosenge Town." Soleil muttered. "It's impossible."

"So, what was that about getting across the bay to Coumarine City?" I demanded.

"Oh! Before I left home, Mom gave me her Lapras." Elise pulled out a PokéBall.

"Good. Soleil, you-Soleil?" Soleil was standing there.

"I was thinking... Should we really do this?"

"Wait-WHAT!?!?" I screeched.

"Well, we've had lots of dangerous things happen to us. And we have no idea what's going to happen next. We won't be able to do anything. Kalos is probably going to be destroyed. We can just go live in another region." Soleil defended.

"I... I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU!!! YOU'RE JUST WILLING TO GIVE UP ON THE WORLD LIKE THAT!?!? VIOLA WAS KILLED, AND SHE TOLD US TO HELP SAVE KALOS! ARE YOU JUST GOING TO TURN YOUR BACK ON HER, LET HER REALIZE THAT ALL HER FIGHTING WAS FOR NOTHING!?!? ALL THE POKÉMON LEAGUES ARE WORKING TO STOP THEM. THE GYM LEADERS, PROFESSORS, ELITE 4, EVEN THE CHAMPIONS!!!"

"The Champions are in prison. They can't do anything." Soleil sighed.

"SO!?!? THE ENEMY HAS BEEN TORTURING THEM FOR INFORMATION, YET NO MATTER HOW AWFUL THE PAIN, THEY HAVEN'T GIVEN IN!! THEY WOULD BE WILLING TO SACRIFICE THEIR LIVES TO KEEP THE WORLD SAFE!! BUT YOU... YOU WOULD RATHER RUN AWAY, WOULDN'T YOU!?!?" I screamed.

"So? They'd waste their lives for nothing?" Soleil remarked coolly and angrily.

"AT LEAST THEY'D KNOW THAT THEY DIED A HERO, RATHER THAN A COWARD!!! NONE OF THEM WOULD EVER TELL THEM ANYTHING!!"

"So? They-"

"No. Soleil, is that how you think?" I demanded coolly.

"Yes. It is now." She replied strongly.

In one swift blur, I snatched her purple PokéBall and released Latias, who stared at Soleil angrily. I threw Latias's purple PokéBall at Soleil.

"Do you think your Pokémon agree?"

"Of course. They are mine." Soleil replied, a chilly tone in her voice.

"Latias, return." She hit the trigger, but Latias dodged the red energy beam.

Zorua popped out of her PokéBall and stared sadly at Soleil.

"Zorua! What are you doing!?" Soleil shrieked.

'If that is what you have become Master, then you are no longer my master!' Latias hissed in telepathy.

'Nor mine' Zorua snarled in telepathy as well.

"What are you saying!?"

'You have become a heartless monster. Now, we live free!' Latias snarled.

"Hmph!" Soleil stalked off.

"Elise? Where do you stand?" I said to her.

"I'm sorry, Aleksi. I'm going to follow Soleil."

"Oh, because she's RICH and FANCY and gets EVERYTHING SHE WANTS, AND SHE'S SO IMPORTANT, HUH?" I growled.

"No! Aleksi-"

"Good bye. Let's go!" I said to Dusk.

Zorua hopped onto Latias, and they flew off somewhere.

"Latios, get me to Coumarine!" I yelled, releasing Latios. Dusk and I leaped on, ignoring Elise's yells.

"Aleksi, hold on!!" Elise begged.

"Latios, go!" Latios took off over the sea.

Elise continued yelling after me, until the fog obscured her and her yells faded.

I never needed friends anyways.
