Gaege is being a real jerk today. I don't know what's up with him lately. He's been being real cold to all of us. And what's up with his hands? Why is he always hiding them? I'm starting to get really mad. And sad too because it's been almost a month and I haven't found my soulmate. I know that sometimes it takes years, but... I don't know. I just feel like they're right next to me and I just don't know it. Knock! Knock! I turn towards the door and get up to open it. I open the door and Gaege is standing there.

"I didn't think you'd come," I say. Gaege shrugs. "Oh, so you're not talking to me now. You seemed to really like to talk the last time I saw you."

"SHUT UP!" Gaege shouts. "I came over here, to f*cking apologize and to you, and you just insult me. God I'm really starting to f*cking hate you!" I stare at him. I feel my throat start to hurt and tears brimming on my eyes. Gaege doesn't even look fazed by how I look. One tear slips and I can tell more are coming.

"Go," my wavering voice says. "Get out of my house. I never want to see you again."

"Good, I don't want to see you either," Gaege says. He starts to turn when he pulls up his right sleeve. "Oh, and, you've found your soulmate." His ring fingernail is black just like mine. He then walks away, out of sight, and probably out of my life.
