COLD. Coldness was all she could feel as the feeling completely embraced her shivering body. Nari felt an annoying headache come on as she slowly began to regain consciousness. She couldn't help but let out a groan of pain, sensing the obvious aching on her cheek from the hit she had taken earlier.

She breathed, slowly fluttering her eyes open. Her eyes fixated on her lap, her head hanging low as she had noticed she was sitting on a cold, metal chair.

Bit by bit, Nari regains her strength as she attempts to move her arms only to note that her hands were promptly tied behind her back as they wrapped around the chair. She then struggles, trying to get loose of the hold on her as she noticed her legs were also tied down onto the chair.

She grunts, frustrated as she wiggled in her seat, desperate to escape. She even tries to pull her hands out from the tight rope, not even bothering to care about the rough rope burns at her wrist and arms.

Ultimately defeated, she sighs, slouching in her seat as her head continued to hang low. She stared at her lap, completely distraught at the reoccurring memories of events that had led her here.

Was Jungkook really dead? Did she really see that happen? Was her mind playing tricks on her? God, she hoped it was.

Her heart ached at the replaying image of Jungkook falling to the ground. She harshly shut her eyes, hoping to get that scarring moment out of her mind. She didn't want to cry, she couldn't. But the aching in her heart was just too much as she felt tears prickling the corner of her eyes.

Her breathing became unstable at the thought. No way was he dead, she wouldn't allow herself to believe it.

"Fuck." She breathed, frustrated in herself. She felt defeated, knowing she couldn't even protect him. She was supposed to be the best assassin there was, and she couldn't even take out this mystery man. She couldn't even save her partner.

"Nari?" The moment she hears her name in that all too familiar voice, her head springs up, looking around the room. It was dark, a single light source above her. She couldn't see the walls for they were too far to be seen. The floor was made of a smooth concrete and she could hear a faint breathing in the room.

She frantically looked around her. She hadn't gone crazy, right? She didn't just hear Jungkook, did she? Was she imagining things? "Jungkook?" For the first time, she was scared, she couldn't help her voice from cracking at the mention of his name.

Min Yoongi wasn't like anything she's ever encountered. She was foolish to underestimate him.

"Nari, it's okay. I'm right here." She heard him reassure. She looked over her shoulder to see Jungkook, alive and awake, tied to a chair similar to her as his back faced her.

She hadn't even noticed, being too caught up in the previous events, to take in that he had been with her the entire time. Jungkook had been waiting for Nari to wake up before he said anything, hoping to not make much noise.
