YOONGI HUFFED, standing up from the bench upon noticing Jungkook enter the sparring room. "Weren't you supposed to show at ten? You're late." He scolds, wiping his sweaty forehead with a hand towel before swinging it over his shoulder.
Jungkook ignores him, sitting himself down on the bench before grabbing the cotton wrap beside him, slowly wrapping his hands. Yoongi stared at his expression only to notice it was completely blank.
From beside them, Seokjin suddenly approaches upon noticing the downfall of mood. "This isn't about the intervention thing yesterday, right?" He cautiously asks. "Cause if it is..." Seokjin mutters, playing with his fingers. "We're sorry."
Jungkook's eyes peer away from his wrapped hands to the King. Seokjin was sweating too, using his free time to train on his combative skills with Yoongi in the case he'd go through another one of those kidnapping scandals.
"It's not." Jungkook simply replies, suddenly standing up. Seokjin and Yoongi's eyes follow as the boy did so. "Even if it was, you're forgiven. It's not like I'd hold a grudge." Jungkook muttered.
Seokjin grins, sighing of relief at the fact that Jungkook wasn't seemingly angry with him. "That's.. That's good." Seokjin nods.
"Why'd you show so late anyway?" Yoongi huffed, crossing his arms. "I've already sparred Seokjin more times than I can count on my fingers. It's your turn now."
Jungkook quickly yet calmly shook his head. "No can do. I challenged a certain someone to a spar today." He explains before glancing at the large clock on the wall of the sparring room. He suddenly sighs, his shoulders dropping at the sight. "But it seems she's late..." He muttered.
A part of Jungkook was scared she wouldn't show. Cause then not only would he look like a fool, he'd feel like one too. He missed her despite not seeing her only for one night. If she didn't show up, perhaps it would only prove that she really was angry with them. With him maybe.
"And if she doesn't show?" Yoongi cocked an eyebrow up, tilting his head as he taunted the boy.
Jungkook scoffed, furrowing his eyebrows. "What?"
Yoongi shrugged. "You heard me. What if she left again?" The older boy's words usually had no filter, for they were always a bit harsh and cold. But those words coming from Yoongi's mouth, Nari's soulmate, just enraged something in Jungkook.
How dare he doubt Nari like that? As if she'd leave over something like this?
Jungkook didn't know what she was going through, but even then, no matter how difficult the problem was, she'd never leave him. Right?
"Shut up." Jungkook spits, eyebrows furrowed as slight annoyance laced through his body. "She wouldn't do that." He shortly explained.
Jungkook sighed, looking at the clock once more to see it was already twenty minutes past noon; the time in which Nari planned to spar him. Jungkook couldn't lie, he was feeling a bit anxious she wouldn't show.
