LATER THAT night, Jungkook heavily sighs as he made his way to Nari's bedroom. It was already almost midnight, but he just knew she wouldn't be sleeping at this time.

Not only was he going to ask her out on this date that Namjoon so wanted him to take her on, but he also missed her. The couple hadn't seen each other in almost three days. Being busy on top of the big castle, Nari and Jungkook barely ran into one another.

Jungkook approaches Nari's bedroom door, lightly knocking on the wooden door before patiently waiting on the other side of it. He rocked back and forth on his feet as he stared down the halls, waiting for the girl to open the door.

Slowly, the doorknob twists open before Nari opens the door and peeks her head through the small opening. Upon noticing it was Jungkook, she opens the door wider, a grin appearing on her face.

"Jungkook, what're you doing here?" She couldn't help but ask him. She opens the door fully, standing there as she looked at him.

"I came to see you, obviously." He smirked, leaning himself against the doorframe as he looked down on her. The same words he said to her that one special night at Ahnjong's home, replay from his lips.

Nari smiled at him, a certain pang of ache hitting her heart the longer she stared at him. Ache because she was sorry for many things. Things she didn't have the heart nor the courage to tell him.

She sighed, a look of guilt and hurt lacing her eyes. She wanted to shield them from the boy as she goes to slowly pull him into a hug. Nari gently stuffs her face into his chest, shutting her eyes tightly as her heart ached. Her arms wrapped around him, her hands softly tracing his back.

Jungkook was a bit confused by the sudden act of affection as he goes to hug her back. His hand runs through her hair, gently running his fingers through it in a caring manner. "Nari, is everything okay?" Jungkook asked, purely concerned for the girl.

He couldn't ignore how softly she had hugged him. Like he was something fragile. But along with her soft hug, was a sense of roughness. She held him tight, almost like she was afraid he'd leave her.

Nari doesn't answer him. Jungkook could feel her fingers gripping the material on his shirt tighter as she hugged him. It was true, perhaps Nari was afraid that he'd leave her. After all, she had her doubts after her trip at the clinic.

"Nari," Jungkook whispered to her, softly brushing at her hair with his fingers. "Talk to me."

Nari deeply sighs against his shirt before slowly pulling away from the hug. She looks up at his worried expression, his hand lingering on her hair for a moment.

She didn't want him worrying so she sends him a small smile. "I'm fine, silly." She says. "I just missed you." She shrugged, pulling the boy into the room and shutting the door.
