JIA LOOKED over at Nari that afternoon, a worried expression on Jia's face. "Is everything okay?" Jia questioned as they walked through the town, passing by many Alorians.
Nari was zoning off, staring at the concrete flooring beneath her as she walked with Jia around town. Her mind was clouded. She had a brother, she couldn't believe it. Now what?"Nari." Jia stopped walking, pulling at Nari's hand.
Nari turned around, looking at her with big eyes. "Huh?" She says, staring at Jia who only looks at her with a look of concern.
"You're so out of it." Jia says. "What did Namjoon say to you? I saw you two talking at breakfast."
"Oh." Nari releases her hand from Jia's grasp. "I just found out he's my brother." She smiled at Jia, quite happy to be exposing this piece of information. Nari was happy.
Jia's eyes widen. "Your brother?!" She gasped. "But... How?"
Nari shrugged, pulling the girl along with her as they walked toward their desired building. "We were separated at a young age by The Ambassador." She explains. "Isn't it amazing how we've found each other again?"
Jia grinned, genuinely so happy for the girl. She nodded. "It is! It's like fate." She says. "I'm so happy for you. Does that mean you're moving back to Aloral?" Jia couldn't help but frown at the thought, knowing she'd probably lose her roommate and her best friend.
Nari sighed, looking at Jia's expression change. "I don't know." She said honestly. It was the truth, she really didn't know where she'd go now. "Come on, I wanna introduce you to someone." Nari says, changing the subject as she pushes the door to a bakery open.
The bell at the door dings and someone immediately pops up from beneath the counter. "Nari!" The familiar voice and face of Misun smiles at the girl. She goes around the counter, swiftly walking up to Nari as she embraces the girl in a hug. "Where have you been? All Seokjin will tell me is you had a family emergency."
Nari nervously chuckled, looking over at Jia for a split second before pulling away from the hug. Misun was one of the many people, that including the Queen, who had no clue that Nari was an assassin here to kill the price all those months ago.
"Yeah, I was... staying with this girl while I was gone." Nari vaguely explained, grabbing Jia's arm as she pulled her closer toward her. "Misun, this is Jia. Jia, Misun!" Nari says.
"Nice to meet you!" Jia says enthusiastically.
"Likewise!" Misun grinned. "Are you guys hungry? I could get you guys something on the house. I mean, it's the least I could do for saving my life." She chuckled.
Jia looked over at Nari with wide, questioning eyes. "I'll explain later." She muttered before turning to Misun again. "That'd be great, Misun. Thanks."
